My Experience
Mayfair Homecare
Senior Care Assistant – a carer for the elderly and mental health. I would assist with personal care, cooking, cleaning, administering medication. Whilst also having social calls including sitting down with the clients and building rapport. (July 2015 – March 2019)
Whilst working at Mayfair I completed my QCF IQ Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England – Pass
Basingfield Court
Care Assistant – a carer for the elderly. I would assist with personal care, phoning doctors/nurses, write up care plans/reviews and administer medication. This job role also included being there for the elderly such as, having a conversation and a cup of tea.
Littleworld Day Nursery
Senior Nursery Practitioner / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead – this role includes, caring for little children on a daily basis which involves nappy changes, helping to feed whilst keeping their independence. Also making sure the children are happy at all times, creating activities for the children inside and outside based on their interests to develop their skills whilst getting spotlights that link to Birth to 5 Matters. My Senior role involves dealing with risk assessments, health and safety, managing a small team of 5 when the Room Manager isn’t in and supporting staff members who are currently doing their Level 3 childcare course. I am also the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead which involves safeguarding children on a daily basis and dealing with concerns that staff members may have and dealing with them appropriately and accordingly. (July 2019 – present)

My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday. 7:30/8am - 6:00/6:30pm. I can be available of an evening and sometimes weekends depending on the needs of the family.
