About Me
Registered Childminder’s working together with over 19 years experience of working with children either within a home setting or a nursery. Gemma is EYFS level 3 qualified with city and guilds and also teaching assistant level 2 qualified currently studying a early years degree.
Lisa is qualified EYFS level 3 Cache.
Gemma has 3 children aged 7,10 and 11. Gemma has 1 extremely friendly dog who adores children, she has her own run in the garden so is kept separate from the children. No one in the household smokes. Gemma has her home set up for all sorts of activities and have a vast range of age related toys which will be expanded on as the business expands. There is a large garden in which the children will have access to at all times. We actively get involved with the children we care for. The children are taken out on numerous trips during the holidays such as the cinemas, museums, parks, zoo s etc. We both strongly feel that children should be bought up in a safe, fun and loving home environment and strive to achieve this at my home.
My Experience
Gemma has worked with children for the past 4 years both within a school setting and also a nursery and has a good knowledge of the EYFS. Lisa has worked as a childminder for 11 years and then went on to work in Nursery’s for the past 4 years. She also has a good knowledge of the EYFS We thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages.

My Availability
Our current working hours are 07.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday. We can work outside of these hours if pre arranged.
We will have up to 4 weeks holiday in a year which we will try to notify in January but will give at least 4 weeks notice.
These are not charged for as a parent may have to pay for alternative care.
We have full and part time vacancies available.
We can also accommodate before 7.30 and after 17.30 for an additional fee.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
We currently charge
£40.00 for a full days care
£31.00for half a day ie up to 6 hours care.
Part time rates vary depending on the hours required.
Wrap around school hours are charged at £7 for the morning session which includes a drop off to school, £10.50 per child after school.
If a child attends prior to 09.00 we provide breakfast, if after 16.00 We provide an evening meal.
Full day rates include all healthy meals and the half day includes the meal times the children are in attendance for.
We do NOT charge for our own holidays as alternative care may required and both feel this is unfair to be charged twice.
