Hello, I'm Dominique, a mother of two, and wife to one.

At Kinder Harmony, we offer a loving home-from-home environment. Our Early childhood pedagogical approach is inspired by past and present research into holistic child-centred development; nature connection, sustainability and the benefits of living a play-enriched, slow-paced childhood.
We celebrate outdoor education by spending several hours out of doors each day.


Setting and Curriculum:

I create a cosy enabling learning environment in and out of doors. The playroom which we call the cabin. It is light filled with views out onto the garden and the tree-lined Valley beyond. Children are encouraged to develop independence through free choosing their play experiences based on their individual interests and creative ideas. The playroom has been thoughtfully planned to provide an enabling environment for the children to learn autonomously with free-flow access to a dynamic garden.

Our outdoor environment provides lots of rich learning experiences from the wonders of the Earth in real-time. In doing so, children develop a deep connection with the natural world, delighting in all the awe and wonder the earth has to offer, a positive attitude towards an eco-friendly lifestyle and creative life skills to champion their health and well-being.

Each day children can partake in a variety of projects that promote all areas of learning across the EYFS, they include block play, clay modelling, gardening, mark making, cookery, water play, crafting, forest school, storytelling, role play and much more.
