Welcome to Little Bears in the Wood childcare!
I am a registered childminder with Ofsted
I have been registered for 11 years.
We do exciting activities here that includes indoor and outdoor activities, mostly include nature play in the garden and the woods nearby and we attend weekly playgroups and attend the local Forrest’s school in the woods opposite my home.
I want the children I look after to not only feel comfortable and a part of the family but to have fun and be stimulated by the day to day activities.
I do this by working closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) I’ve recently completed a Diploma in Early years qualification. As well as that I am a mentor for other childminders and work on that as a freelance basis with the Department of Education.
My Experience
Qualified Early years level 3 practitioner
Worked as Mentor for the Department of Education as an Early Years expert and Mentor.
I have 11 years experience of professional childminding where I have looked after many different children with different needs and abilities. As well as the day to day care and nurturing of a child I observe children and see what stage they are at and work out their next steps to further develop them.
I work closely with parents for positive outcomes.
I hold a level 3 diploma in Early years and children’s workforce and DFE Early years Professional development course

My Availability
Monday - Thursday mostly term time only but this can be discussed at the meeting as I can work some days in the holidays.
8am - 5pm hours can be flexible if discussed with me first. Extra charge may apply

Danielle has been a childminder for my little boy for the last couple of years, and he absolutely loves going to her, she is friendly and caring and is amazing with children. I would highly recommend her!
