About Me
I am registered by OFSTED and a member of NCMA..
I have lived in Rustington for 15 years and I am situated within walking distance to the village, beach, library and park. I offer a safe, secure, caring and happy environment for children to develop and learn through play whilst following the early years foundation framework.
I have a large enclosed garden offering opportunity for outdoor play and other activities such as flower/vegetable gardening. I love arts and crafts so I encourage creativity and messy play.
Visits to local toddler groups and the library are part of my weekly routine along with having lots of fun!
My Experience
I have 2 children aged 14 and 13 and have experience of working in mainstream primary school for 8 years. During this time I have gained experience of working with all ages from early years through to year 6. I also have experience of working with children requiring additional learning support on a one to one basis such as downs syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.
I have experience of working as a Learning Mentor helping emotionally vulnerable children overcome barriers to learning.

Paediatric First Aid certificate
Level 1 foundation course in counselling
Child Protection
Observation and Assessment
Level 3 NVQ Teaching Assistant
Level 3/4 Children's Workforce Practioner (Learning Mentor role)
Training/workshops in 'Working Together', Transition, social problem solving & anger management plus other various special needs training.
Diploma in Retail Design
