About Me
We are a professional couple with two lively daughters aged 6 & 9. We have a keen interest in food and cooking, and love getting out and about with our daughters to local parks and museums. Our daughters both attend Channing School in Highgate and they love arts & crafts, ballet, acting and music.
My Requirements
We are looking for an After School nanny for our two daughters aged 6 & 9. We live in Highgate, North London and are within walking distance of East Finchley & Muswell Hill. Hours are 3.00 to 7.00pm Monday to Thursday. We can also offer additional babysitting and the potential for additional school holiday hours as desired. Commencing around September 2023.
Candidates must have experience in a childcare setting with children of a similar age. Excellent references are essential.
Our ideal candidate will be fun, energetic, caring and nurturing and able to create a stimulating and loving environment for our daughters. You will have plenty of imagination and motivation to support the girls after school. The position would suit someone wanting to build a long term relationship with our family. Your main duties will be:
- Collecting our daughters from school (10 mins from our house by public transport)
- Playing with them after school (arts & crafts, reading, outdoor play in our large garden)
- Helping with homework
- Preparing healthy evening meals for the children
- Taking to and collecting from after school clubs
- Arranging play dates
- Light household chores related to the children, e.g. washing clothes, tidying up after meal preparation and tidying toys at the end of the day. (We have a weekly cleaner for other tasks.)
You will also be/have:
- Non-smoker
- CRB/DBS cleared
- First Aid certified (recent)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
