**Job Opportunity: Nanny / housekeeper
Are you a nurturing and dynamic individual looking to join a vibrant household? We are seeking a dedicated nanny to become an integral part of our family in Henfield. Our bustling home consists of two energetic boys aged 10 and 18, along with our delightful 2 year old - daughter.
**Position Details:**
- **Hours:** can offer 35- 50 hours per week flexible
- **Additional Responsibilities:** In addition to regular hours, occasional babysitting for date nights once a week and covering for weekends away will be required.
- **Travel Opportunities:** Accompanying the family on holidays to our villas in Portugal and Spain will be part of the role.
**Experience:**
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience with childcare during family holidays is advantageous.
**Household:**
- Our household is home to our beloved dogs, sheep, and goats. An affinity for animals is essential.

- Housekeeping helping look after the dogs and organising the home
**Responsibilities Include:**
- Providing assistance to the family as needed.
- Managing uniforms and ensuring organization.

- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks

Lauren is a sweet young lady who was very keen very happy with the hours pay accommodation cleaning side of things (nanny duties) contract everything when we employed her recently.
But then once starting the job lauren questioned everything about the job the tidying up the hours the looking after 3 children comments yes I have 3 children and still did when you came for your interview so not sure why it was such a shock that you’d be looking after 3 children?
However lauren doesn’t have the correct baby experience leaving my 6 month old baby with a red roar blistered bottom without telling me and not applying anything to help this. Which was deeply upsetting to discover. Or feeding her when she should be having meal times.. skipping the baby’s meals was a surprise to discover.
Lauren isn’t very tidy or have the basic level of cleanliness tidying up after the children and keeping their areas and things clean and tidy.
But most shockingly of all Lauren left in the middle of the night for some strange reason (probably because we were upset about her not telling us about our baby’s blistered bottom) when we were about to leave for the airport to fly at 6am the next day and she was no where to be seen and uncontactable having paid for her hotel room and flight. Very disappointing indeed to sneak off like that and very unprofessional it’s been such a waste of time and energy introducing her to our children our home and nanny role in general.
I’d hate for this to happen to another family.
