Hello, I'm Emma.
I live in Falmouth and have just completed my masters degree in Illustration. I am looking for part time childcare hours, alongside my illustration and photography work. I am free every day, including weekends - apart from Wednesdays.
I have many years experience within childcare and education, working with children and young adults from the ages of 3-20. I have worked as a SEN teacher at an independent school. I have 12 years experience as private home tutor, working with students to support their art and design studies. I have also worked in student services at an arts university, employed as a specialist mentor and learning support assistant.
I am friendly, organised and responsible. I love children and am experienced in planning activities for a range of young people, with a broad spectrum of needs and interests. I am a very good cook and enjoy nature and the outdoors.
DBS (CRB) checked.
First aid at work trained.
Own car with full, clean drivers licence.

Home tutor experience of 12 years.
10 years nanny and childcare experience, both live out and live in roles.
Overseas Nanny experience with sole charge care for 2 boys aged 5 and 7, in Portugal. The role was nanny and housekeeper. I often had sole care of children while their father was away on work trips, often up to 2 weeks at a time.
Art, Photography and Child Development teacher at secondary school.
Learning support assistant and specialist mentor at the arts university in Canterbury from 2014-2016 working with students with Autism and anxiety.
