Hiya
So you are embarking on the scary journey of looking for a childcare provider. Believe me I know how frightening this feels.
Let me tell you about myself. I am Kirsty Sharpe and I run Little Wings Childminding based in Laurieston, Falkirk
where I have lived for the past 30 years. I have 3 children of my own 16, 12 and 8 years. I own my home and have a 7 seater car to accommodate all the children.
My home is very much a family home. We have our pet dogs.
I live right next to a lovely outdoor area which is amazing for walks, games, bug spotting, rock finding, gruffalo hunting and endless adventures.

Pick up at Laurieston Primary. I would also offer blended care with Laurieston nursery.
I work in partnership with Falkirk council and offer the fully funded hours on a blended basis or full time with myself.
My Experience
My experience started with my three children. I was also the Chairperson of the PTA at my local school. However I have stepped down for a period of time to focus on my Childminding. I have been on the following training courses: SCMA childminding, Child Protection, Getting it Right for every child in Forth Valley,Food & Hygiene,Supporting Early Language Development, Pediatric First Aid, as well as a Sensory processing course. I have also attended a workshop on yoga, mediation and calming exercises for kids. I am qualified in Early years Social Services Children and Young People. I have had my full PVG check carried out and my driving licence is full and clean.
I try to get the children out as much as possible, I attend various groups throughout the week. We also like the many parks and the glen that surrounds us. We love arts and crafts as well as enjoying learning about the many special days and festivals throughout the year.
My Qualifications
SCMA childminding, Child Protection, Getting it Right for every child in Forth Valley, Pediatric First Aid, Supporting Early Speech Development as well as a sensory processing course. I am qualified early years social services with children and young people.
