I am a very enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for working with children. I have gained exceptional knowledge and skills through my years of employment. I can thrive in busy environments but am also able to use my initiative and creativity skills to work individually. From a young age I have had a passion for working with children and I secured a job in a preparatory school not long if after leaving education.
My Experience
I have previously worked with a family looking after a child of 12months old, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my role within this family. Alongside this role I have been working in a day nursery to gain further knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Framework which I now feel very confident with.
Prior to this I began working at The Gleddings Preparatory School in 2005 as an apprentice and progressed through many different positions right up to management level. The Gleddings is ranked in the top 50 Independent Preparatory Schools for the ninth year in a row and is a member of IAPS (the top 500 Independent Preparatory Schools)
I have also gained experience working a summer season as a 'Head Nanny' for a very popular holiday provider.
I have also worked in New York for 3 months when I was 17 caring for a young child of 18months.
I have experience with children from 6months to 17 years and I am able to provide references for every position I have held. An up to date CV can be sent for your perusal upon request along with copies of all of my certificates.

Currently on maternity leave, would be looking for something during the day where I could bring my own baby too.
