About Me

My name is Andrea Vaughan JollyTots Childcare, I began working as a childminder in September 2014. I live with my husband and 3 children; 2 girls and a boy. Our house is on the West side of Dunstable surrounded by beautiful countryside; Dunstable Downs, Green Lanes and Whipsnade Zoo are on our doorstep.

I currently cover Lancot before and after school.

I consider my home warm and inviting and enjoy sharing it with others and using it for my home childminding. We are fortunate to have a dedicated playroom and a large garden to play in.

The playroom is bright and colourful with toys, books, puzzles, games, arts and crafts, music and television to suit babies, tots and 4+. Toys are rotated depending on children and age. The wooden play kitchen is a firm favourite. There is Happyland, wooden track and trains, cars, baby dolls, animals, dinosaurs, preschool wooden / ‘plastic fantastic’ toys, musical instruments, construction, learning games... the list is endless.

The garden is fully enclosed. With a playhouse & mud kitchen, ride-ons, paddling pool, water/sand table, pop up play tents and tunnels.

You can be rest assured your child will have a varied day. If we’re not home doing child led and/or planned activities we will be out & about visiting different parks locally and further afield such as Milton Keynes, Ashridge, Rushmere, the Zoo alongside other childminders & children to mix with. My setting is 'childminding at home'. We watch tv! We give cuddles! We read stories! We play! We bake! We go out & about!... all mixed in with some quiet time! Preparing your child for their early years at school home from home.
