My Experience

I have been working with children for over 15 years in many different environments, from nurseries, primary schools, to private work of babysitting and nannying. You name it, I've done it all. I throughly enjoy my job, there's nothing I can't do! I have worked with all ages, starting with babies at 2 months old right up to teenagers (12-16) years old. I have a lot of experience with, working with children with SEND needs and additional care.

I have always had a huge passion for working with children of all ages along with the individual needs each child may or may not have. I strongly believe that each individual child has a special gift or talent of their own that they’re raring to share with everyone, and I like to encourage children to share their greatness when in my care.

My Qualifications

I’m a fully qualified childcare provider with Level 3 and Level 2.
I have a clean DBS which is on the update system.
I am a Level 3 Paediatric First Aider, a Level 2,3 and 4 Food Safety and Hygiene Practitioner and hold a Level 2,3 & 4 Safeguarding Lead. All of which I regularly renew within the mandatory yearly time frames.

And many other unquie certificates from recent courses and training I have taken.

All mandatory child care courses are updated every year and any others that I feel are relevant to my work.

My Availability

Please contact me to discuss my current availability for the year. When booking I kindly ask that you contact me in as much advance as possible to the date you enquire.

My availability can be flexible, I can offer to work as a part nanny/babysitter or shared job post with your current child care provider. Providing reasonable notice has been given, I can offer week day evening work and weekends.

Last minute bookings and Cancellations:
If you require last minute or emergency child care I kindly ask that you give a maximum of 72 hours notice and I will offer help where I can.

- Cancellations: If you need to cancel due to sickness or a change in circumstances and you no longer need child care, I require preferably a maximum of 72 hours notice. A small cancellation fee may apply when multiple cancellations occur frequently.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My fees include my child care services. If you would like my additional services of those that do not relate to the child in my care this may come at an additional charge, for example: household chores and general cleaning and upkeep on the home, pets, shopping and other personal errands. This can be discussed upon meeting.

Outings and Activities: If you wish for me to provide your child/children with new and exciting experiences, I kindly ask that you provide them with a spending allowance to cover the costs of this and if this requires me taking part too. This would also cover the costs of any food&drink and
activities or treats for them. If you wish to provide a packed lunch instead please be sure to let me know.
If for any reason an allowance isn’t provided and an impromptu day trips/experience takes place, I am more than happy to cover the costs of the day however I kindly ask that this is reimbursed to me at the end of session, where I will provide receipts and and invoice. If you would not like me to cover costs and you are happy to them please ensure that you provided this prior to the session or leave within a safe place in your home for me to access. Regardless of who covers the costs, I always provide proof of receipts for any outgoing or activity taken.

Overnight stay: Flat Rate TBD starting from 10pm. Hourly rate to commence from 5am—7am depending on the child/children’s routine and needs.

Cancellations: I can understand that sometimes circumstances can change, however cancelling last minute puts my work on a sudden hult. A small cancellation fee may apply when multiple cancellations occur frequently. This will be discussed with all families upon starting.
