Personal Statement
I am a highly motivated, warm and caring childcare professional with over 17 years’ experience as both a nanny and nursery practitioner. I love nothing more than helping children grow, learn and thrive through fun, play and creativity. Families describe me as reliable, happy and full of energy, with excellent timekeeping and communication. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents, and I bring passion and dedication into every role I take on.

Professional Experience
Nanny – Hitchin (Jan 2025 – Present)
I currently care for a wonderful little girl aged three, supporting her mum as she returns to work. My role involves creating fun, stimulating days with plenty of outings, activities and play, as well as preparing healthy meals and snacks. I take on all general nanny duties with warmth and consistency, ensuring she feels safe, loved and encouraged.

Nanny – Biggleswade (School Holidays & Emergency Care) (Apr 2025 – Present)
I work with two lively girls, aged five and eight, providing care during school holidays and at short notice when needed. I love planning fun days for them, taking them to swimming and dance lessons, and supporting the family whenever last-minute care is required.

Nursery Support – Biggleswade, Sandy, Flitwick, Royston, Bassingbourn (Ongoing – Agency roles)
Alongside my nanny roles, I provide nursery cover across different settings. I enjoy adapting quickly to new environments, supporting children of all ages and using my EYFS knowledge to create playful, age-appropriate learning experiences. I am passionate about helping every child reach their potential through play, imagination and creativity.

Nanny – Lower Stondon (Nov 2023 – May 2024)
I cared for a baby boy from the age of five months in a sole charge role. My days included preparing food, bottles and weaning, following his routines, ensuring safety of equipment, and providing stimulating activities to support his development. I loved watching his milestones and creating a loving, secure environment for him to grow.

Nanny – St Albans (Sep 2021 – 2023)
I joined this family full-time to care for two young children, a girl aged two and a baby boy. I supported the little boy with a speech and communication delay, spending quality 1:1 time with him, attending groups, and arranging playdates to encourage his development. Alongside this, I cared for both children’s daily routines, meals, outings and fun activities.

Nanny – Dunstable (Sep 2020 – 2021)
I cared for three children aged nine, five and nine months. My role included nursery duties, school runs, planning activities and ensuring a safe, fun environment. During COVID, I supported the family by home schooling the older children. From March 2021, I became a full-time nanny/housekeeper, taking on additional household duties including laundry, tidying, and preparing food menus.

Nanny – Melbourn (Oct 2020 – Feb 2021)
I cared for one-year-old twins in a temporary position. My role involved planning age-appropriate outings and activities, keeping routines consistent, and providing loving care as they prepared to transition into nursery.

Nanny – Stevenage (Jan 2018 – 2020)
I worked with two boys, one aged six and a baby of three months when I started. My role covered everything from school runs and outings, to weaning, food preparation, playdates and baby appointments. I loved creating fun ideas to keep both boys entertained while supporting their learning and development.

Nanny – Cambridge (Sep 2015 – 2020)
I joined this family when their daughters were two and four, caring for them for over four years. As they grew and started school, I transitioned into a part-time nanny/housekeeper role, balancing household duties with after-school care. My responsibilities included cooking, laundry, keeping their play spaces safe, and organising creative activities and outings.

 
Emergency Nanny – Various Families (2017 – 2020)
Alongside my main roles, I provided emergency cover for families with children aged from 2 months up to teenagers. I adapted quickly to different homes and routines, providing reassurance and consistent care for both children and parents at short notice.

 
Kids Unlimited Nursery – Cambridge (2008 – 2015)
I began as a nursery assistant and trained to Level 2 and Level 3 before progressing to Preschool Room Supervisor and Behavioural Coordinator. I worked with children aged 3 months to 5 years, planning EYFS activities, leading a team of staff and supporting parents. I was entrusted as a key holder and provided 1:1 support for a child with developmental delays.

 
Personal Interests
I love expanding my childcare knowledge through new courses and learning from others in the field. In my free time I enjoy socialising with friends and family, keeping active at the gym, and going on adventures in the mountains. I also enjoy being creative, listening to music, travelling and spending time with my younger siblings and my lovely golden retriever.
