My Experience

I am an experienced childminder with nearly 20 years of experience, offering a warm, family-based home setting where children feel safe, nurtured, and supported. I am also a mother of three grown-up sons, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s needs at every stage of development. My aim is to nurture each child and help them become confident, socially able, and well prepared for their next steps into school. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, along with additional qualifications in Every Child’s a Talker and Movement and Play, supporting children’s communication and physical development. I am fully first-aid trained and DBS checked, ensuring a safe and caring environment at all times.

My Qualifications

I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, along with additional specialist qualifications in Every Child’s a Talker and Movement and Play, supporting children’s communication, language development, and physical skills. I have also completed autism awareness training through STARS, enhancing my understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs. I am fully first-aid trained, hold an up-to-date DBS check, and have completed safeguarding training in line with current EYFS requirements. I regularly update my training to ensure I follow best practice and maintain the highest standards of safety, care, and professionalism at all times.
