About Me

Hello I'm Rachel, I have worked with children/ babies for 20 years now, and I have three of my own.

I worked as a community maternity support worker for 8 years within the NHS. I gained a lot of experience during my role and only left due to wanting to concentrate on supporting families 1 on 1 during their time as new parents.

I am very experienced in post and antenatal Natal care, breastfeeding support, supporting the family and offering my knowledge, guidance and help in postnatal care.

I can be there to answer questions, phone calls and to do daily visits inbetween your midwife appointments postnatally if this is what is needed.

I offer over night care also so you can get your much needed rest. During this I will care for baby, drowned to house work if needed, start the process of a ‘sleep routine’ and offer care and support.

I’m happy to answer any questions.
And look forward to hearing from you.

My Experience

Nursery worker 2007-2009
Covering all ages from babies- 5year olds.
Supporting needs of children.
Weaning babies, potty training and lots of play!

Nannying. 2010. This was my 1st nannying experience and i loved it. It was so nice to be in the childs home environment. Cooking meals, going out for the day and doing things they weren't doing in a nursery setting. Here i looked after a baby (4months) and a toddler (3years).

Nannying 2011 in notting Hill London. this was to care for 2 girls. one aged 4and the other aged 8months. the children where lovely and I enjoyed my time moving and travelling with the family.

Nannying since 2011 3 children aged newborn, 5, 11. Here I was with the family whilst mum was pregnant with her third child.
I looked after the other two to help mum and then I looked after the newborn. This job included over night and weekend stays.

Nannying for 3 children age 3,6,8 4 days a week and assisting with cooking, school runs, cleaning and running errands for the children and parents. I left this job to purse my career as a maternity support worker as I feel newborn care is my passion.

Maternity Community Support worker and newborn screener. 2017-2024
Here I worked in the community supporting families before and after birth with feeds, care, support and advice.
I loved this job and supporting families in what ever need they had.

I also have three children of my own. 13, 11 and 9. Due to their ages, it now gives me the opportunity to embark on my new journey supporting families privately. Being able to offer over night support and to be more available.
