About Me

Hello I'm Rachel, I have worked with children/ babies for 17 years now, and I have three of my own.

I currently work as a maternity support worker and newborn screener but I am keen to put myself to use when it comes to newborns.

I am very experienced in post Natal care, breastfeeding support, supporting the family and offering my knowledge Regarding postnatal care.

I absolutely love my job and I love helping mums and couples where I can. That maybe feeding or just general support to the mum.

I would be there to answer questions, phone calls and to do daily visits inbetween your midwife appointments postnatally.

I offer over night care also so you can get your much needed rest.

Each family will want different support and care which is why we would together tailor the package and needs to your individual family.

I’m happy to answer any questions.
And look forward to hearing from you.

My Experience

Nursery worker 2007-2009
Covering all ages from babies- 5year olds.
Supporting needs of children.
Weaning babies, potty training and lots of play!

Nannying. 2010. This was my 1st nannying experience and i loved it. It was so nice to be in the childs home environment. Cooking meals, going out for the day and doing things they weren't doing in a nursery setting. Here i looked after a baby (4months) and a toddler (3years).

Nannying 2011 in notting Hill London. this was to care for 2 girls. one aged 4and the other aged 8months. the children where lovely and I enjoyed my time moving and travelling with the family.

Nannying since 2011 3 children aged newborn, 5, 11. Here I was with the family whilst mum was pregnant with her third child.
I looked after the other two to help mum and then I looked after the newborn. This job included over night and weekend stays.

Nannying for 3 children age 3,6,8 4 days a week and assisting with cooking, school runs, cleaning and running errands for the children and parents. I left this job to purse my career as a maternity support worker as I feel newborn care is my passion.

I also have three children of my own. 10,9 and 6years old. Due to their ages it now gives me the opportunity to embark on my new journey supporting families privately.

My Qualifications

Childcare and Education Level 2&3 Distinction.

1st Aid.
