About Me

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a professional Maternity Nurse, Baby Sleep Consultant, Doula, night nanny and career nanny. I have been helping babies (and parents!) sleep through the night for over 22 years.

Over the years, I have spent thousands upon thousands of hours living in with families, this invaluable experience has enabled me to create a unique, gentle and systematic sleep strategy that caters for the individual need of the baby and the parenting style my families wish to maintain. I have also mastered the art of teaching newborns how to sleep well from the beginning (all in a gentle and hands-on approach).

In 2006, I qualified as a fully accredited Maternity Nurse at the MNT College at Reading University, London. In 2013, I graduated as a Birthing and Post Natal Doula from the Australian Doula College in Sydney. In addition, I have obtained certification as a Holistic Maternity and Child Sleep Consultant through a leading maternity institute based in the U.S.

I have lived and worked on 6 continents (52 countries) working with an array of clientele, including celebrities, VIP’s, European royalty and the everyday family. I would love to add your family to my list of happy, well-rested clients.

My most recent Maternity review:

"Jen was - IS - amazing! She arrived the day we came back from the hospital and stayed with us Monday-Friday for the next 7 weeks. What a gift! She was only going to stay for 5 weeks but we loved having her around so much we extended as much as we could. I came home with a gorgeous baby who had his days and nights mixed up… I hadn’t slept more than two hours and he was refusing to sleep at night. One night with Jen (I got to sleep, she didn’t!) and he was on track, on a schedule and has stayed that way ever since. He literally slept through the night (albeit was woken up twice to feed) the second night she was here. She helped set him (us!) up with an amazing schedule that is still working, and tips to alter it as he grows. To date, I still have never experienced the ‘witching hour’ afternoon crazies with our son - and I think this is due to him being so well rested from the beginning, sleeping well at night and having good sleep in the day. Jen set us up to meet his needs - all before he needs them. So he has become a beautiful, zen baby. Also, my baby was very tiny, born in the 1st percentile at 2.49kg. With Jen’s assistance and knowledge, helping me feed him, we were (and I say ‘we’ because it was definitely a team effort), able to get him up to the 50th percentile before she left. I know I couldn’t have done this without her knowledge and guidance. She has the science down to a ‘t’!. The best part (well, apart from the sleep genius part) about Jen is what a wonderful human she is. Thoughtful, considerate, conscientious and a great cook as well! She fitted in with the family and became our 6th member. Our older kids adored her. We were all so sad when she left - not just for the sleep part! One weekend she was away, we used a pacifier a few too many times and subsequently, our bubba was liking it a little too much - needing it to go to sleep - but Jen got him back on track immediately when she got back on the Monday.
I cannot recommend Jen enough. Having her greet me as a first time mum on my first night out of the hospital was the greatest gift and one that made the initial few weeks of motherhood calm, peaceful, joyous, and empty of stress. I recommend this to all who can - just to set you and Bub up. She is a wonder and I recommend her wholeheartedly. She knows her stuff and is a font of knowledge on everything to do with babies. You won’t ever regret getting Jen’s help for your little one."
