I worked for Paulina and Jorge for 5 months looking after their 3-year-old twin girls, where my responsibilities include:
• Function as primary caregiver for the girls during the afternoon / evenings Monday – Friday, including picking them up from pre-school and taking them home on public transport, take them on activity days out to museums, libraries, parks, sport activities etc.
• Responsible for stimulating and encouraging the development of their Spanish and English language (including reading and writing) as well as their intellectual, creative, emotional, and physical development.
• Support pre-school learning with further teaching of letters, numbers, colours, manners etc. with educational games and arts and crafts.
• Uphold standards set by parents in regard to manners, discipline, social behaviours, and safety. Teach the girls about the importance of being tidy and organised from a young age (such as with their games, books, toys etc.)
• Light housekeeping duties including but not limited to cleaning the girls room and bathroom, changing the bedding, cleaning the kitchen after use for preparation of healthy meals for the girls.

I have been working for Valeria, Marco and her family as a nanny for 12 years, looking after their two children (currently boy aged 16 and girl aged 12) since they were born. Responsibilities include:
• Currently picking up the girl only from school and taking her home on public transport.
• Supported the family and children during different ages and crucial stages, from helping with potty training, teething, learning to walk, speak, starting primary and secondary school etc.
• Taking the children to after school activities such as dance and swimming.

This Latin American school is only held on Saturdays and is for children from Hispanic families or for those children who want to learn Spanish from a young age. We also teach Maths, Music, Hispanic Culture, Sports etc. Responsibilities include:
• Teaching the children how to speak, write and read Spanish at various levels from nursery to year 3 and primary school maths.
• For the younger years, help the children recognize the letters learn to write their names and carry out fun and educational activities including play with dough, puzzles, singing, reading and arts and crafts.
• Plan lessons, exams, get all the required material ready for each week. Carry out parent-teacher evenings to discuss the development of the children.

• Babysit their children (boy 8, girl 6 and girl 4) when the parents are away or busy on evenings as their full-time nanny is not available to work during this time.
