I am a qualified social worker (senior practitioner) of 6 years with experience with children of all ages, and SEN children. I am offering babysitting or occasional ad-hoc care.

My Experience

Currently, I am a leader at a local guide group, giving me experience with 11-14 year olds. This has also lead to me having to attend annual first aid courses, from which I have been awarded a First Response cirtificate on behalf of girlguiding as well as me having been DBS cleared (CRB).

I also have a separate DBS check from my current employment.

I have had 2 previous roles as a nanny, in which I worked with two children, aged 4 and 1, and with a family with older children aged 9 and 13. This job meant that I had many responsibilities within the household, including cooking for the children and general cleaning roles. I have also got experience with disability through paid social work employment and previous nanny roles.

My Qualifications

Social Work BA Hons degree

Experience in working within high paced and high pressure safeguarding roles, as well as in a disabled childrens team.

I have been a guide leader since age 18 meaning that I have experience in engaging teens.
