About Me
Hello, my names Kate and I'm a primary school teacher and private tutor with 6 years experience. In my spare time I enjoy reading, travelling and going to the gym.
My Experience
I have experience as both Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 teacher and tutor, and Key Stage 3 tutor. In particular phonic Year 1 screening and Year 6 SATS prep, 11 plus and GCSE English and Science. I always promote equality and have worked with EAL and SEN pupils, and volunteering on a children's hospital ward in my spare time. I understand the importance of making the child the centre of their own learning in a fun and dynamic way.
Although I am based in Liverpool so am limited to there on a Sunday, I travel between Ashton-Under-Lyne and Liverpool during the week so can tutor anywhere on route eg Warrington, Stockport, St Helens, South Manchester...
Currently exploring online classroom bases, so would also be happy to talk about remote tutoring too.
