About Me

Hi , I've lived in high town Bridgnorth all my life. I've been married for 37 years and have 2 grown up children and 2 grandsons and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Childminding became a natural progression for me from enjoying spending time at home caring for my own children.
We have two friendly dogs a cockerpoo named Ted and a golden doodle named Alfie.

My Experience

I am an experienced Ofsted registered childminder and a gold member of childcare.co.uk with whom I am insured. I have been a childminder for many years and really enjoy my job caring for children and providing help and support to parents and families , its important to me that we work together as a team to give children the best possible outcomes during their early years, feeling loved, respected ,secure and help them grow in a safe home environment .
My aim is to provide a warm, nurturing , flexible service where children in my care will feel happy , loved and learn through play, organised activities and everyday experiences. I work within the guidelines of the EYFS where I plan children's next steps and help them to reach their full potential.. As a childminder working from home in a smaller setting i feel I'm able to provide more one to one care and respond to individual needs and interests and get to know and understand each child in my care.
I attend local toddler/ play groups and like to get out within our local community as much as possible.

My Qualifications

CACHE Level 3 in Childminding practice.
Paediatric emergency first aid
Child protection /safeguarding training every 2 years.
Food safety and hygiene courses and anything relevent to me concerning childminding and the children in my care.
EYFS training.
Designated lead training.
34 years experience.
