Brilliant childminder

Ylva has a very special place in our family. Six years ago when I was looking for a nursery/childminder for my then 2-year old daughter, Ylva was the only person I felt confident that my daughter would be cared for in a warm,loving and stimulating environment. My daughter absolutely thrived in Ylva’s care, so much that she stayed with her until starting school and had the smoothest transition.
2 years later when expecting our son I knew that only Ylva could look after him when I returned to work. He’s been in Ylva’s care just over a year and absolutely loves going to her house. Both my children adore her, we’ve seen them standing by our front door in their pyjamas with their bag in hand wanting to go to her 6am. (They start at 8.30am :))
Ylva provides a wonderfully stimulating, engaging and happy setting. The children explore nature in any weather, eg. splashing in puddles, sledging and building snowmen, collecting sticks in the woods. They also visit various playgroups,the library and get to know their local community. Ylva also organises special days out in the holidays which the children love.
Ylva encourages early development in a fun and exciting way. My son seems to learn something new every from her. Even though she has vast experience and knowledge in child development she continues to develop her skills.
She provides a written daily diary and sends photos of the children which is the highlight of my often stressful workday.
I could probably write an essay about how invaluable Ylva is for my family and how much she’s supported us becoming more confident and happier parents. Anybody would be lucky to have Ylva caring for their children!

Outstanding loving and professional childminder

For 3 years, Ylva has been the childminder of our two sons. Firstly for our eldest one from 1 year old until he started Nursery at school and secondly for our youngest one since he was 6 months old.
She has looked after them and help us educate them in a safe and caring environment. They have both truly enjoyed their time with her and the other children in her home, in the playgroups she attends every day and in all the activities she organises during school holidays (zoo, parks, museums...).
She has given a lot of importance to learning social skills, language, numbers, motor skills, healthy eating, good manners and independence, as well as to fun and play time, and she has always been happy to share all their progress in periodic reports and lovely daily photos of all the activities.
We feel Ylva has greatly contributed to making them the happy and confident children they are now and we recommend her to everybody!
