We can’t speak highly enought of small talk. All the members of staff are incredible. They really make an effort to get to know the children’s personality and what they need to progress. We moved both are children here from a nursery because we didn’t feel the children were progressing enough and we are so glad we did. We noticed a difference nearly straight away. When our daughter was due to start school the staff were amazing at getting her ready for the big step. A perfect preschool

We changed To Small Talk Nursery In September 2018 from another preschool in the local area.

Our children were unsettled in the previous school. From the moment we visited Small Talk to now we have seen a huge change in our children. They have settled, happy to go to preschool and thriving.

The staff have also been very supportive to myself.

I highly recommend this nursery / preschool to anyone.

Our son attends Small Talk and has done since 2 years old. He has grown so much there in many ways. I wasn't sure how he would settle being away from us, being a clingy baby and toddler, but I'm amazed at how well he did. The staff here are just absolutely brilliant and we couldn't be more grateful to have this setting so close to our home. He has now been attending for a year, we have never had any issues with him being there and he has always been excited about going. We have access to Tapestry where they post all the fun things our son has been up to and we love it! They are extremely attentive and respect what we do at home to help with things such as toileting. The children always seem happy as do the staff. It is nice to see the ladies genuinely proud of the children and loving what they do. I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else for our little boy and we will definitely be sending our future child here when they're old enough. Thank you to everyone at Small Talk you are all amazing!

SmallTalk is not just a home away from home environment, They are a family away from home! They have been a fantastic support throughout the process of getting my daughter, who suffered extreme separation anxiety, to attend without a fight everyday! Because of their effort and hard work, above and beyond any expectations, my daughter has the opportunity to get a preschool education and more importantly some friends. I spent 10 weeks attending the pre school with my daughter and witness first hand how well cared for and happy the children are. I would highly recommend SmallTalk, the past few months have seen a huge change in my daughters confidence, one which without the help, encourage and support of Carrie, Kirsty and their team we would never have seen and we are thankful for all the hard work!

We have used Smalltalk now for the last few years and have nothing but praise for under 2's and pre school, and also holiday club. My son is now at school but regularly tells us he would rather be at Smalltalk, and loves going to the holiday club, and my daughter is in the under 2's and has settled in really well and we feel that she benefits from the attention she gets in a smaller group. The staff are really friendly and we always find them very helpful if we need any advice over anything. All in all, I feel I can go to work and the children are happy and having a nice time at Smalltalk.

My son attended this pre-school from the age of 2 till he started school, he settled in very well and made a few friends. He enjoyed every day and adored his key worker. The staff were very friendly and and always ensure there was a variety of activities. I would definitely recommend this pre-school. :)

This Pre school has always been a friendly and homely place for children to thrive in. The staff are always welcoming and are always on hand if you have any questions or issues you need to air. Their "family person" system is a great way to make the children feel that they belong and my child was welcomed in when we went to visit the Pre- school in January this year.

I am very confident that my child recieves the highest standard of care and attention when attending the Preschool

My son (8yrs) came to the holiday club on several occasions. He loved the club, especially the fact he was able to choose his activities. He made several new friends and seemed to settle in very well. The staff were helpful and approachable.
I will definitely use this holiday club in the future.

I took my son to the under twos room, at the visit the staff all seemed very friendly and approachable, I left my son for a few weeks and he didn't really settle. On his next visit he cried again when I dropped him off and apparently cried for the whole three hour session; I truly believe that this is far too long to leave a baby crying without calling me to let me know the situation. When a family member picked him up for me they noticed his trousers were wet through and asked the staff member who said that he had cried when they tried to change his bum so left him in a wet nappy which leaked through to his trousers, rather than trying to distract him to change him. There was only one other child in the room that afternoon so with two staff one of them should have noticed that he was wet.

After that he never went back :(
