Hello, I'm Zoe and I am 30 years old. I am currently living in Carlisle and working at a busy primary school as a Year 1 teacher. Over the long summer holidays I would love to help out with any childcare needed. I love to be outdoors exploring and keeping active. I am happy to cook and provide light house work.
My Experience
After gaining my Psychology degree I went on to get my Level 3 qualification in childcare. I worked in a day nursery in Swansea for just over a year with children aged 0-5. I spent a lot of time working with babies so I am very well equipped to care for very young children. I also worked with children of pre-school age, planning activities that helped their development in school. I then became a nanny for 3 very lively boys. We had lots of fun carrying out the activities I had planned, attending playgroups, going swimming and lots of other things. I am a very active person so I like to be outdoors as much as possible, walking and exploring. I am also very creative so I enjoy painting, crafts and generally getting messy. I have previously set up my own playgroup that focussed on messy and sensory play. I have experience in caring for children with special needs. I have cared for children with ASDs, PMLD and additional needs. I love to combine my practical knowledge with the knowledge from my degree to help children with special needs achieve a better quality of life. I also have experience of working in a very busy primary school as a teaching assistant in a reception aged class. I love to see how the children develop in all areas. Childcare and education is truly my passion. After returning from Canada where I nannied for a number of families I secured a role at a nursery in Penrith where I have became Deputy Manager and room leader for the Preschool group. I went on to complete my PGCE and I am now a fully qualified teacher, currently teaching Year 1 in a busy Primary School in the city.

My Availability
I am available across the summer holidays and weekends. Apart from a few days trips I have planned I am mostly free for the 6 weeks. Drop me a message if you would like to discuss further.

Zoe has been looking after our son Aidan age 6 for over a month, she is very trustworthy reliable and punctual and most importantly a great carer for our son Aidan I would strongly recommend Zoe to care for any child.
