I'm a 27 year old that loves working with children. I love to chill out on the weekends with films or going for long walks along the reservoirs. Im a very out going approachable and flexible person who loves working with children as i find it incredibly rewarding. I also love to cook and love to try out new healthy balanced meals. I also love to do light house work including ironing as i find it very relaxing.
My Experience
Hello, I currently work as a nanny for a lovely family who has a boy of 15 months old. We do a lot of activities such as Odds Farm, Different Soft plays, going to lots of parks and lovely walks around the lakes/ponds and feeding the ducks. I have loved my time with this family and love working with babies but due to the families circumstances I am looking for a new vaccancy. I have worked with all ages as i was previously in nurseries. I also cook healthy meals for the whole family, do light housework such as hoovering the living room and cleaning the kitchen once i have cooked and also i do a bit of ironing whilst the child has nap times:). I would love to be able to work with children with disabilities or development issues as this is a big passion of mine and find it incredibly rewarding. I have cared for a child with an unknown syndrome who was boss eyed and did not walk, crawl or talk at the age of 3-4 years old. The child also had a PEG tube in their tummy and I have had full training on how to use the pump for regular foods and also for administering medicine. I have worked closely with their physiotherapist and play therapists to encourage the child to develop properly. The child had a monkey frame that allowed them to stand up straight and to be able to join in with messy play activities or general activities whilst trying to gain strength in their lower body. This was a very rewarding child that I had the privilege in working with.
