About Me
Hi, My name is Ross - I provide quality, trustworthy and reliable Childcare whenever YOU need it. Which means I’ll come to you, don’t worry about not driving or having to wake the little ones up before they need to be! I specialise in care for under 5 year olds, and have recently gained my level 3 Post-Natal Care Specialist Certificate.
I am a reliable, enthusiastic individual who has a passion for working with children! As we know children learn through play and aim to make sure there is fun in every activity I plan whilst also making children are safe and secure in my care! This might mean bear hunts in the woods, painting in the park or a trip to the library or even closer to home making pizza’s for our lunch or painting pictures and reading stories!
I love to read, travel and spend time with my friends and family. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare in which I received AAA, I am paediatric First Aid trained and have my food hygiene certificate!
I enjoy working with families who loves their nanny to be out and about! I believe Trips to the park, baby groups and outings are essential for making sure your children have life experiences that help them to prepare for adulthood and contribute to happy, healthy and thriving children!

I have worked as a Nursery Room leader in an OFSTED rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ nursery, I supervised staff in my room and made sure all children were thriving in our care!
I have worked as Crèche Supervisor in Rhodes catering to children from 4 Months to 47 months, also helping in the kids club when there are no children booked in to the Crèche - Very Happy to provide references :)
I have experience with children with a range of disabilities such as Autism, Downs Syndrome and children who are deaf! Both within the nursery room and as a respite carer.
I studied for two years as an Occupational Therapy Student at the University of Derby and have a certificate of higher education in Allied Health Studies and, therefore, I understand the importance of play being a Fundament occupation - I am also able to cater activities to all needs and abilities to make sure every child in my Care are happy, challenged and having fun!!

We trust Ross implicitly, and feel so lucky to have found her. She baby sits our 17month old daughter once a week, and is extremely reliable. Ross has baby sat for us on a weekly basis for nearly a year now, in addition to some adhoc baby sitting requests. Our daughter loves spending time with Ross, and is very comfortable in her company. Ross is kind and caring, and has a wonderful nature which makes playtime before bed a special time for our daughter. As a young family without immediate family local to us, we are grateful for the service Ross offers and could not recommend her enough to other families.

Our baby Owen absolutely loves Ross. She is an excellent nanny, both for our child and for us as parents.
Ross is kind, patient, and playful with Owen. And from the parent perspective, she is reliable, communicates really well, and is very efficient with all the admin side of things. Ross constantly thinks of fun and creative activities to keep Owen happy & stimulated, and takes him to all kinds of fun baby groups and activities.
We've worked with Ross for 6 months, four days a week, every week since Owen was 8 months old. He's now 14 months old and is so happy, confident and meeting every milestone easily. We could not be happier with Ross, our experience with her has been brilliant. He laughs so much with her and is always delighted to see her. Honestly she's a life saver!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It’s been such a privilege taking care of Owen, and watching him grow into the cheeky, lovely and very funny little boy he is!
Ross had been amazing with our children and they love her so much! She has been an incredible addition to our family and made our lives so much easier when it comes to childcare. Our son had some additional needs and Ross has never been phased by him and knows exacly how to help him when needed.
Thank you so much the kids cant wait to see you for the new term!

Ross is a great, reliable and caring, she has taken care good care of my kids and they were so happy with her and she really entertained them through the summer holiday with different activities, really recommends her and hopefully will keep using her services in the future
