I enjoy gardening, listening to music and visiting local national trust properties. I love meeting friends and family for walks or meals out.
I have many years experience in childcare working with young children from three months to teenagers as well as bringing up my son.
I have worked in nurseries and schools, I have experience of helping children with additional needs. I have nannied for the same family for the past five years, I started when the youngest was ten months and she is now six. This role is coming to an end due to the children being in school. I can be flexible on start and finishing times to meet the needs of the family and I'm used to covering overnight when needed.
I think children learn best from positive experiences, including being outside to explore nature as an outdoor classroom. Exploring the natural world with visits to parks, gardens and beaches. I use my National Trust membership to explore history and nature.
I cook simple meals, encouraging the children to participate in learning new skills. I take children to museums, art galleries, children’s theatre and local events.
I have the NNEB, and hold Early years professional status.
I hold a first aid certificate, and current DBS
currently available for part time childcare or evening babysitting
