About Me
I have adored children for as long as I can remember, and at just 11 years old I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to working with them. Becoming a Nanny was the perfect path for me, so I followed my dream and qualified in 1994, and I haven’t looked back since!
Over the past 30 years I have had the privilege of working with six wonderful families, many of whom I’m still in touch with today. I have cared for children from birth right through to their teenage years, including newborns and twins, and I pride myself on providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Since March 2022 I have been caring for two amazing children full-time. Their family are about to relocate abroad and, although they kindly invited me to join them, I have chosen to remain in the UK to stay close to my own family. This means I am now excited to find a new family where I can bring my experience, creativity, and warmth to the next chapter of my Nanny career.
My Experience
I have been a Nanny for 30 years, caring for children from birth through to 14 years, including newborns and twins. My experience covers every stage of development, from supporting babies with feeding, weaning and routines, to encouraging toddlers with early learning and social skills, right through to helping school aged children with homework, activities and independence.

I have known Amanda for over a year as she has been the sole nanny to my daughter's best friend (age 5). Not only is she super-reliable, highly experienced, organised, and beyond capable of every task asked of her, but she is warm and friendly, and completely loved by her charge (and her many friends who absolutely love play-dates!).
Modest as ever, this profile really doesn't sell what a fantastic professional career nanny you would be bringing into your family. She builds relationships easily, and looks for long-term roles where she will really get to know your children and their needs. I have no doubt that she will snapped up quickly.

Amanda has been our nanny for the past year. She is very experienced, really kind, always on time and never took any time off sick. My daughter formed a wonderful bond with Amanda and it was a pleasure to see my daughter continue to develop as a happy, confident and bright child under Amanda's expert care.
Amanda planned each day with my daughter, they did loads arts and crafts, baking, swimming, trampolining and went on lots of interesting and fun day trips. (Amanda drives). The only reason Amanda is leaving us is because my daughter is now at school full time. But I would absolutely recommend Amanda as a nanny - she's brilliant.
