About Me
I have adored children since I was a young girl, and from the age of 11 I decided that when I would grow up I would like to work with children in some capacity. Becoming a Nanny was the ideal role for me, so I followed my dream and qualified in 1994. Where has the time gone?!
During my 30 year career I have worked with 6 wonderful families, 5 of which I am lucky enough to still be in contact with. My current job commenced back in March 2022 where I look after two amazing children 5 days a week. The family will be moving to a different country later this year, and although they have requested me to join them (which is a huge compliment), I have made the hard decision to stay in the UK as I am very close to my family. Sadly it is nearly time to say my farewells, find a new family and start a new chapter in my Nanny career.
My Experience
I have been a Nanny for the last 30 years, looking after children from birth to 14 years. This includes newborns and twins.

I have known Amanda for over a year as she has been the sole nanny to my daughter's best friend (age 5). Not only is she super-reliable, highly experienced, organised, and beyond capable of every task asked of her, but she is warm and friendly, and completely loved by her charge (and her many friends who absolutely love play-dates!).
Modest as ever, this profile really doesn't sell what a fantastic professional career nanny you would be bringing into your family. She builds relationships easily, and looks for long-term roles where she will really get to know your children and their needs. I have no doubt that she will snapped up quickly.

Amanda has been our nanny for the past year. She is very experienced, really kind, always on time and never took any time off sick. My daughter formed a wonderful bond with Amanda and it was a pleasure to see my daughter continue to develop as a happy, confident and bright child under Amanda's expert care.
Amanda planned each day with my daughter, they did loads arts and crafts, baking, swimming, trampolining and went on lots of interesting and fun day trips. (Amanda drives). The only reason Amanda is leaving us is because my daughter is now at school full time. But I would absolutely recommend Amanda as a nanny - she's brilliant.
