Fantastic Childcare

My daughter has attended Smile and Shine for almost 2 years now and she will be leaving due to starting school in September.
I can only say positive things about the time she has spent in Mani's setting with Mani and the fantastic staff she has working alongside her. The setting is amazing with a lovely large garden and lots of toys, games and books to suit every child. Olivia has developed into a happy and confident little girl who is more than ready to start school and this is definitely down to her learning experiences with Mani. Olivia enjoys all the activities that are provided and she is challenged to keep developing her learning in areas such as writing, reading and number. Children often go on local trips such as the park, other childminding settings and to a residential care home, which are so enjoyable for all the children. Olivia has such good relationships with staff and children in the setting, she settled in almost immediately when starting the nursery at the age of 2. She looks forward to every day at nursery and at the end of the day I receive thorough updates about the day. I could not have asked for better care for Olivia.
Olivia says "I will miss the nursery when I go to school and everyone".

Outstanding in every way

My son was the first child Smile and shine ever had. He was 18 months when he started but having known Mani prior to this, I had no doubt that my precious baby would be looked after extremely well. Even though he was the first child, the setting was made ready as if it was for 9-10 kids. It was beautifully set up
and all thorough procedures in place which made me feel at ease and confident in my decison. Within a few weeks Smile and Shine was full and its reputation perceded itself.

My son attended 5 days a week from 8 am
till 6 pm. Long hours for any child one would think, but my son never wanted to come back home and looked forward to going to Smile and shine every morning. I had to drive for just over 2 years , half hour atleast each way from swiss cottage to Finchley and back but it was worth it.

The love , care and attention my son received from Mani and her lovely staff has been immensely appreciated and have laid a solid foundation for my son to thrive in new environments with confidence. He was able to secure a place in the school, Devonshire house quite easily and was successful in the assessments they laid out. He has grown into a confident, happy and a very witty young boy and I give a lot of credit to Mani and Smile and shine for encouraging him to grow and develop into such a wonderful and well turned out individual.

Even though its been a year since he left , he still likes to go back during school holidays to spend time in Smile and Shine.

Highly recommend Smile and shine to anyone who wants a great start for their child.

Its a truly magical, nurturing, educational, fun and super professional setting which has been awarded with an outstanding status in all categories.
The proof is in the pudding. All the people I recommended Smile and Shine to, are so grateful and very happy, because they can see their little ones blossoming.
Great facilities, indoor and amazing outdoor space. Plenty of hands on play and activities to encourage and facilitate learning for bright young minds.
Oh and super healthy and truly fab food prepared by them that Its tempting to dive right in too as a parent'

Would recommend again and again and again!

Best Childminder in town

My Son attended Smile and Shine full time for two years before starting reception.

Mani simply is wonderful with children, it’s hard to know where to begin with all the positive things I have to say. She has made a positive lifetime contribution to my sons well being, he came out of this setting a happy, confident, healthy, well mannered child also having learnt many skills and was advanced in many areas of education.

I feel like I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder. During this period my son wanted for nothing and I would collect him each day with a smile on his face. He even wanted to go on weekends!

My impression of her setting was that it was well organised, clean, fully equipped with all the resources he needed and more. Her staff were professional yet loving and caring.

I can’t recommend Smile and Shine enough for your child and I’m sure you will not be disappointed with your childs well being and progress here.

My son began school miles ahead of the other children, he was confident, well rounded in his education and he has excellent interpersonal skills and interacts with other children very well. He also has great personal hygiene skills and had no trouble with adjusting to using the school toilets etc. He didn’t have a single accident at school!

There are many more positive things I want to add, I will be forever grateful to Mani and all Smile and Sine staff for the wonderful job they did with my son.

My son was 14 months when he was started in smile and shine with the care of mani. Now its been 3 months and I've seen so much improvement in my son, in terms of physical and cognitive. The smile and shine provides different kinds of learning activities everyday that makes my son really enjoy. They also provides delicious and healthy meal for the children and i am so happy because my son ate a lot always. I must say that mani and her staff is doing very good and i must recommend the smile and shine to parents out there who is looking for a child care for their child. - ronna

Outstanding

My daughter Alexa absolutely loves her days at Mani's. She settled in really quickly and it feels like home from home now. Even on the days when she's not going, we hear a lot about Mani's house. :)
Mani is wonderful with all the children. She is mum of two lovely boys and what better experience than having two of your own. I have great confidence that she will always keep Alexa safe, well fed, happy, entertained and challenged.
The setting is fantastic, there are loads of toys and equipment for all sorts of activities, inside and out.
Mani is very encouraging and talks so positively about Alexa at the end of each day. She's very easy to talk to and I get good updates at the end of each day.
When I'm at work I really do feel happy knowing Alexa is with Mani and don't have any worries at all which means so much!
I can't recommend Smile & Shine enough.
