Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile!
I graduated with a BA (HONS) Early Years Education and Early Years Teacher Status in 2014 and I am now a Primary School teacher having completed a PGCE with QTS in 2015. Since then I have been developing my career as a teacher.
In am currently in my eighth year of Primary Teaching. I have previously taught Year 1 for a few years as well as Reception and Year 2.
I have also had ample experience working with babies and children of various ages and stages in playgroups, children’s centres, nurseries, abroad and in schools, with some Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience within the above and through my work as a teacher. My mother is also a childminder and used to be a foster carer too as well as having a younger brother and a niece and nephew, I have been around children pretty much my whole life!
I am available for adhoc babysitting as well as weekly tutoring. I have the flexibility to babysit/tutor mainly on an evening and weekend - with more flexibility in school holidays.
I am located in East London (Chingford).
I hold an enhanced DBS check and qualifications. I am hoping to update my first aid certificate soon.
I am patient, respectful, outgoing, punctual, trustworthy and fun! I would love to have the opportunity to get to know you and your child/ren.
Fun Fact - Last year, I moved back home to London having spent three fantastic years teaching in Doha, Qatar! (I have a police clearance certificate for my time there, which I can share with you on request).

My Experience
I have ample experience within the child care sector including in children’s centres, nurseries, pre-schools, schools and crèches.
I have had work as a nanny, a kids/creche rep abroad as well as an Early Years Supervisor. I have also worked with some lovely families as a babysitter from a very young age. I even once had an amazing opportunity to have a placement in The Portland Hospital on the Newborn Ward!
