Hello! I’m a friendly, experienced childminder dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and feel at home.
I live near Borehamwood station in a modern house with a safe and secure garden. My own children are now teenagers and we have a small dog.
My setting is a home from home environment where I can offer a very child focused approach and work with you to maintain your child’s routines.
Whether we’re reading stories, doing arts and crafts, exploring outdoors, or learning new skills, I aim to make every day fun for all the children in my care.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 18 years and have two children of my own.
I love being a childminder! I have cared for many many children now, watching them grow from small babies into independent children ready for school and feeling ready and secure to take that next step.
My first mindees are at Uni now and I am proud of the fact that many of my former families have stayed in touch. I have many references available from over the years.
My Qualifications
Degree Educated
CACHE 3 - Childminding Level 3
First Aid
Food Hygiene
Safeguarding
SEND
And numerous other training qualifications beneficial to the care of babies and young children’s care and development.
My Availability
I work from 7.30am to 6.30pm Mon- Fri. Can accommodate some shift patterns.
Unfortunately I am unavailable for school runs or wrap around care.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Fees include meals and all daytime activities (such as play group/soft play
I offer 15 and 30hrs childcare support funding from 9mths -4yrs.
I accept Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit.
My Local Schools

My baby has settled wonderfully at Sarah’s, I was so worried about leaving my baby and going back to work but Sarah made it so easy for me and my baby loves her and the other children in her care already. It is truely like a second home which is all I could have asked for. I was welcomed and reassured from the moment we met and she is a really kind lady who knows the children in her care inside out.
I will recommend her all day long and I am so happy with my decision.

LO has been going to Sarah since January 2014 at 10 months. She loves it there, always happy to go in and always have a fantastic time there. Returning to work full time has only been possible because of how much LO loves it at Sarah.
She learns such a lot from Sarah, counting, singing, colours, social skills... Everything I wanted her to learn! In fact, I think Sarah did a much better job than I would have done myself if I had chosen to be a stay at home mum.
Sarah is also very flexible and easy to work with.
