About Me
We are a family of 4- Mum, Dad and 2 boys, 8 and 10 years old (Year 4 and 6), who go to school a few mins walk from our home. We live a 7 min walk from Clapham South station, right on Clapham Common, so are very fortunate to have this wonderful green space at our doorstep.
Our boys are happy and energetic, and enjoy a range of sports, board games, sketching/art, playing playing the piano. They are also avid readers- from magazines to a wide range of books. They love heading out for a bike ride on the common, playing football- on the common and in a club, tennis- we are lucky to have courts a few mins walk, and cricket.
Our children have several food allergies and one has asthma, so we need someone confident and mature, who is comfortable looking after kids with food allergies.
We are a multi-cultural family- Dutch+ Indian, and frequently travel during holidays. Mum works 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday and Dad 5 days.
My Requirements
We need an after school nanny to help with school pick ups, preparing dinner Mon- Thu, supervising homework, shower and bedtime.
We are looking forward someone kind and caring, who has a passion for helping children learn, become independent and to support them in all they do. We are flexible between 3-4 days a week, from 2/3 pm until 7/8pm for a total of about 15-20 hours a week. We also offer occasional babysitting.
Given the allergies, we have an extra focus on nutrition and cook most meals and snacks at home, so if you enjoy cooking, that’s an added advantage!
We are looking forward someone long term, who can form a strong bond with our kids and support them as they grow, become teenagers and start secondary school. Most importantly, who would have fun in our family and with our kids, while supporting our family’s needs.
