My Experience

Dear family, I am a qualified NNEB Nursery Nurse who has worked continuously in the childcare industry since 1984. Supporting and caring for newborns, babies, young children and their families since that date. I have traveled extensively and worked in a range of settings from private households, schools, nurseries and children's assessment centres.
I have continued with my education over the years updating my skills and adding greater depth.
I have supported a great many families and children over the years. I remain firm friends with many.

I have a calm , gentle approach which is holistic and baby led. I keep a detailed log of all my babies whilst I am caring for them. Recording feeds, digestive development and child development and play activities. This assists me to identify any concerns as soon as possible and alert parents to those.
My expertise lies in first time parents, supporting postpartum care, troubleshooting, supporting and assisting breastfeeding, caring for twins and premature babies, caring for poorly mums and poorly babies. I offer and fully support and promote safe sleep practice as recommended by the NHS and The Lullaby Trust.

My Availability

I am available now to offer support following the birth of your baby or babies. I work all over the United Kingdom and all over the world. My expertise lies in first time parents, breastfeeding support, twins and premature babies. I typically live in with a family offering 19 hours continuous care and support ( 24 hours with an unpaid daily 5 hour break). I am very flexible and typically tailor my availability to match the needs of each individual family. For example for those wishing to breastfeed I can be with you 24/7 for the first 2/3 weeks, then reduce this to 24/6, 24/5. I usually go away from your home for my days off and go home. I typically stay with a family anything from a minimum of one week up to 20 weeks. I often assist families with seeking a nanny and can help with the change over.

My Fees

• Maternity Nursing from £17.00 per hour (gross)

My rates are dependent on each families needs and requirements. For 2026 I am offering generous discounts for long, live in bookings. Assisting parents further into parenthood. Offering flexibility and consistent care.
