Welcome to The Nurtury!
Hello! I’m Carly, the founder of The Nurtury, Hampton Magna.
My mission is to provide a home from home environment for children 0 - 4 years that bridges the gap between family life and early education—a place where your little one isn’t just 'minded,' but is a cherished member of our Nurtury family.
At The Nurtury, I offer a safe, calm, and intentional environment where children have the time and space to explore who they are.
Promoting Independence: From pouring their own water to choosing their own resources, I empower children to develop the "I can do it" confidence they need for life.
The Great Outdoors: We are firm believers in the power of fresh air! We make daily use of our fantastic outdoor space, where muddy boots and curious minds are always welcome.
A Space to Grow: I am so excited to announce that from September 2026, we will be opening our newly refurbished playroom—a light-filled, purpose-built space designed specifically to inspire play and creativity.
While my setting feels like a home, my practice is rooted in high-level professional standards. I am committed to continuous professional development to ensure your child receives the best possible start:
Level 4 Qualified: Bringing a deep understanding of early childhood development and pedagogy to every activity we do.
SENCO Trained: I am fully trained as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. I pride myself on being an inclusive setting, offering expert support for children with additional needs and ensuring every child’s voice is heard.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I accept all funded hours. Any hours outside of the funded hours are charged at a private set rate.

Karen and Carly have been looking after our son since he was 8 months old, and it’s amazing to see how much he’s developed socially and with his vocabulary and communication in that time. He’s always excited and happy to arrive and play, and we receive detailed updates about his care and progression. Every day, the children have a nutritious, home cooked lunch together, sing, play and do an extensive range of creative activities. Karen and Carly have been absolute lifesavers for us, as our son is so happy and settled in their care that we have no worries working full time, as we know he’s in the best two pairs of hands and a truly nurturing environment. We would definitely recommend this childcare provider to anyone looking for a home from home setting for their baby or child.

Carly looked after my now 3yr old son for a little over a year and she has done an amazing job with him and we will forever miss her, my son has now moved on to join his sister at school otherwise I would still have him there. I would recommend her to everyone because if it was not for Carly I would be seriously stressing everyday. She was very supportive when I needed care for my son and he came home and surprised me every day with how much he had learnt and the things they had done. Very nice area for the children and always felt that Jose' was safe. I would receive updates from Carly regularly which I really like. Thank you.

We have known Carly for the last couple of years while she has worked as an assistant to our childminder. She is very warm and caring and our two boys age 6 & 4 both just love her! She has always been reliable, professional and friendly.

Carly has looked after my two children (aged 22 months and 4) as an assistant at our childminder setting for the past 12 months. Carly is very popular with the children and I can see that she has fantastic capability and experience in caring for children and helping them to develop practical, interpersonal and language/numeracy skills. When our childminder was unexpectedly sick for a week, Carly looked after my children independently at her own setting and I was confident that they were well looked after.
