About Me
A family living in Wimbledon Park are looking for a full-time Russian-speaking nanny to help look after their three children.
My Requirements
A family living in Wimbledon Park are looking for a full-time Russian-speaking nanny to help look after their three children aged three, six and ten. The family’s preferred start date is 1st February 2026.
Key information about the role:
1. Our children are sweet and well behaved. The ten-year-old boy is calm and mature and thrives on a predictable routine. The six-year-old girl is focussed and determined and loves drawing and colouring. The youngest girl recently turned three. She is sociable and loves going to nursery.
2. The nanny should be flexible, loving and happy to muck in and help with the running of the family. The family have a cleaner, but the nanny would be expected to help with keeping the house tidy.
3. The nanny MUST be able to speak Russian fluently (the mother is Russian and a mixture of Russian and English is spoken at home).
4. The nanny MUST have a current driving license to assist with the school run for the older children using the family’s car.
5. The nanny should enjoy cooking and would be expected to cook an evening meal for the whole family.
6. Both parents mostly work from home, but the nanny would have sole charge of the children for most of the day on weekdays. After the older children return from school, the parents would typically assist them with their homework, although the nanny should be able to help when required. On the weekends, we need an extra pair of hands at home to support us so we can take our children to their various activities.
7. The family have one small elderly dog (a cockapoo). The nanny would not be expected to walk the dog but may be asked to put out some water / food for her.
8. The family usually travels to Spain for the school holidays (except Christmas) and the nanny would be expected to join for most of the holidays.
The nanny’s typical working day would look like this:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
1.7.00am start to help the older children get ready for school.
2. 7.30am drive to drop the children to the school bus stop.
3. 9.00am take the youngest girl to the nursery.
4. 9.00-12.00 prepare lunch for the youngest girl and dinner for the family.
5. 12.00 collect the youngest girl from nursery, feed her lunch and put her for her nap.
4. 16.00 -16.45 collect the older children from the school bus stop.
5. Prepare dinner and depart at 17.30.
Saturday & Sunday
6. 8.00-16.00 working day mainly staying at home as parents take the children to various activities. Prepare lunch.
Thursday & Friday off.
We would be happy to discuss an alternative working pattern to secure the right person.
