About Us
Central Community Nursery School is Derby’s oldest, purpose built, 52 place nursery school. We are dedicated to outdoor learning and children making sense of the world around them; our ethos and unique curriculum is built around forest and farm school practice.
Regular trips to our local allotment enhance our curriculum and support the well-being of children, parent and staff.
Unique experiences in a naturally stimulating environment, surround our children with nature.
We serve freshly cooked meals expertly prepared by our own chef using home grown produce.
We are an experienced, fully committed staff, who go the extra mile; educating children
throughout the Early Years is our passion!
We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to reach their full potential. Our extremely experienced Early Years Teachers lead a strong, fun-loving team to ensure there is a high quality, challenging and inspiring curriculum, ensuring all our children are enthusiastic, young learners. Our spacious nursery and wonderful gardens are a place where we value the power of education for all.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £18.00 per morning
- Childcare from £18.00 per afternoon
- Childcare from £45.00 per day
We offer 15 hours of free education to all 3 and 4 year olds and flexible 30 hour places to those who qualify.
We offer flying start funded places for 2 year olds
