My Summary
About Me
I am a 50 year old who loves working with children. I live with my husband and 18 year old daughter. My daughter is at secondary school. We also share our home with our cat Pebbles; two dogs Pippin and Bow; and two fish.
I provide wrap around care and holiday care for primary aged children only.
I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking and gardening. I include my childminding children whenever I can. I am happy to get the paints out and collect bits for sticking and glueing projects. We have a lovely park nearby and a green area for kicking a ball. I love getting out and about with the children during the holidays.
My Experience
I am continually gaining in experience as I have now been working as a childminder for 12 years. I enjoyed helping out at my daughter's pre-school and primary school which led me to becoming a childminder.
My Qualifications
I have my Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Work Force. I am continually trying to improve my setting and doing courses that help me to do this. I have completed a Level 2 course in Childrens' mental health and well-being in 2020 to help me support children returning to school after home-schooling and more recently a Level 2 Understanding Autism.
My Availability
I am available from 7.15 am until 6.00 pm for before and after-school care. I provide fruit and two biscuits for children after school. I am happy for children to bring their own meals and can reheat food provided.
I can pick-up from or drop-off to Fynamore Community Primary School, Calne.
I currently have vacancies before and after school. I am happy to do term-time only or short-term contracts as long as I am in my required numbers.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
I charge £4.00 per hour which includes all snacks. I prefer children to bring their own lunch which I will happily reheat if required during the holidays. I give a discount for siblings. I don't charge during the holidays but will expect payment for any bookings made.
