My Experience
During college my work placements included, a family placement, 2 school placements and a special needs placement.
2008-2012: When i left college I worked in a private nursery for 4 years working with children aged 3months-4years.
2013-2016: I was nannying with a family where i looked after 4 children; 3 year old twin girls (who were 5months when i started), a 5 year old and 11 year old.
2016-2018: I have been nannying with a family Monday-Thursday, where i look after a 5 year old and 3 year old. (Left this family as they moved away)
2017-2020: In Sept 2017 this role changed into a nannyshare role, taking on a 4 year old & 1 year old. (Left this family as kids are going to school).
2017-2020: I have been nannying on a Friday with a 5 year old & 2 old. (Finished as mum took time off before little one started school).
2018 - 2021: A family joined to be part of a nannyshare. Monday-Thursday, where I look after a 4 year old & 1 year. Along side the other family of a 6 year old & 3 year old.
2020-2021: A family with a 4 year old & a 6 year old joined to be part of a nannyshare, alongside a 7 year old & 3 year old. Monday-Friday.
2021-2022:
Nannying with a family Monday-Thursday, who have a 7 year old and a 4 year old.
2022-present:
I am nannying with a family Monday-Friday, who have a 5 year old and an 8 month old.

Kirsti looked after our two children for a year. She was exceptionally patient, kind and caring and both of my children adored her (as did we!).
Our eldest child has an Autism diagnosis. Despite not having specific previous experience with a child with SEN, Kirsti was incredible with him. Her nurturing and patient nature meant that they quickly built up a rapport and he trusted her implicitly - very rare for him.
During the holidays, she meticulously planned amazing trips for them each day, and met up with other nannies too, so they had a little group of friends!
Sadly, we needed less hours once our youngest was fully established at school, so Kirsti needed to find a full time role. We’ve had quite a few nannies over the years, but she set the bar very high! If you have the chance, snap her up! She’s brilliant.

Kirsti is an absolute legend. She has been looking after my two children since they were 1 and 3 (now 5 and 7) and has been a total game changer in our house. She is brilliant with the kids and has the energy and patience I can only dream about - she constantly goes over and above, be it cooking creative, healthy meals, organizing creative and fun activities for them and accomodating any clubs / appointments and commitments that the kids have. She somehow manages to be fun (quote above is from my eldest) whilst also being firm and consistent in a way that is really supportive to me as a parent. Consensus at the school gates is that she is one of the best and she has never missed a day of work for me in all the time she has been with us. She also leaves the house much tidier than when she arrives. I honestly don't know how we ever coped without her.
I am really sad that we no longer need Kirsti now my kids are both in school as she feels like part of the family (in a good way - like a fun auntie, she never oversteps). I hope that she finds a warm and friendly family who appreciate her immesurable skills. She is far too modest in her summary on here - happy to call and give a verbal reference if you need one!

Kirsti has looked after my two (girl 4 and boy 6) every Friday for the last 3 or so years. She genuinely loves kids, is super organised and 100% reliable, so makes a brilliant nanny. She is firm with the kids when required, and calm in a crisis. We feel very fortunate to have had her help and would not hesitate to recommend her. Bron
