About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder working with a team of three assistants. Having recently moved from domestic to non-domestic premises we pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and secure environment, a homely place where the children are free to roam from room to room, learning and exploring through play. Children are stimulated, nurtured and encouraged to develop their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. We aid their learning by providing regular opportunities for them to engage within the community by attending groups and clubs and visits to Children Centres, museums, libraries, cinemas, soft play centres and places of interest.
Dee's Childcare is a Forest Childcare setting, providing enhanced opportunities for children to explore features of the natural world and express themselves creatively in everyday play, through the provision of a range of weekly outings to our allotment, local woodlands, open spaces, and farms. It is about giving children the opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors whatever the weather, enabling our children to learn about, appreciate and care about the environment.
Currently, we provide school pick up Plumcroft Primary School, Foxfield Primary and drop off and pick up at Notre Dame Catholic Primary School.
My Experience
Dee’s Childcare is an Ofsted Registered “Outstanding” Childminder who offers a high standard of care for children aged 6mths to 12yrs. With over 15 years of knowledge and experience, our goal is to have a positive impact on the children in our care and aid parents to raise happy, healthy, intelligent, well-adjusted children.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 supported by Continuous Professional Development attending numerous training courses and workshops to maintain motivation to empower and support parents/carers to become actively involved in their children’s learning and development. Able to effectively plan and provide activities in relation to the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance and have sound experience of electronically maintaining children’s records, where necessary with observations, evaluations and tracking their development.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
We believe in being honest and upfront with our charges, which are extremely competitive for the area.
Dee's Childcare is open Monday to Friday (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Easter Sunday and all Bank and Public holidays) between 7.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday
Fees: Our fees are very competitive in this area, and can be hourly, daily or weekly based on individual needs. Fees are calculated monthly/weekly in advance and payments are due on 1st of the month or every Monday. A late payment fee of £10.00 will be charged for each day payment is late.
Full time: Charges per week fixed = £300.00 (under 2)
Charges per week fixed = £275.00 (2 - 5years)
School Run per week fixed = £130.00 per week (AM & PM)
School Run per week fixed = £100.00 per week (PM only)
Part-time: Charges per day fixed = £65.00 Full Day / £45.00 Half Day (under 2)
Charges per day fixed = £60.00 Full Day / £45.00 Half Day (2 – 5years)
Casual hourly rate = £7.00
We also provide holiday and ad-hoc provision for school aged children at a cost of £40 per day.
Unsocial hours (outside of normal working hours) £10.00 per hour
Contracts can be Full Time, Part Time, Term Time* or Casual* (*incurs an additional retainer fee)
All prices are inclusive of breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch**and afternoon snack. We provide healthy foods and only use Almond or Coconut milk. Parents will be required to supply nappies, wipes, creams, breast/formula milk/cow's milk or any specialty dietary foods.
**There will be an additional charge for food and drinks, for children attending on the 30 hours entitlement, As Government funding in England covers the delivery of early education and care only and does not include food or resources.**
We accept Childcare Vouchers, offer the 15 & 30 hours free entitlement and Together4Twos.
Parents are required to provide -
Bottles & breast / formula milk,
Nappies & wipes
Toothbrush (in child's given colour)
Suncream, sunhat & sunglasses
Wellington Boots and protective clothing for outdoor play
Alternative meals for example if your child has an allergy
Healthy pack lunch for outings and days out
Fees for outings, classes and trips
Birthday cake and snacks to celebrate birthdays
