Tash
Babysitter in Leigh On Sea
My Summary
About Me
Please note: I now provide short-term and ad hoc childcare alongside other employment and my Ofsted registration has lapsed. If this is something that would be required for a longer term position, I would consider re-registration.
My approach is child-centred, creative and holistic; providing plenty of opportunity for imaginative and creative play as well as outdoor, educational and cultural opportunities. I am also a yoga teacher and have also specialised in children & teen creative yoga. I have an inclusive practice and am an ally of LGBTQIA+ families.
Outside of childcare roles, I am a mum of two and hold a part-time role in a local charity, a Personal Assistant to an adult with learning disabilities, and am a mural artist with ad hoc art jobs.
My Experience
I have around 3 years experience nannying, largely in the Early Years, but also longer term evening support for multiples and older children. Additionally, I have worked in Children's Centres, nurseries, and taught Yoga to children and teens. I have SEND experience with a teenager with learning disabilities.
I studied BA (hons) Psychosocial Studies which included a first in the module Foundation in Art Psychotherapy. I have also worked within the charity sector and have a background in mental health and homelessness, community organisations and children's centres.

I am so grateful to Tash who was amazing with my 1 year old daughter who was too poorly to go to nursery and Tash stepped in to save the day while I had to work. She was so professional, communicative and lovely with my daughter who had such a great day with her - genuinely felt at ease as soon as she we met! Thank you for being so wonderful Tash!

Thank you Imogen for a lovely review! It was a pleasure.
Natasha looked after our 2 children on my wife’s return to work, this was for three (long days) a week. Throughout the day she would keep us update and send us pictures of their day. Tasha was always looking for new fun activities to do, as our children enjoy being outside often these would be outdoors. She was extremely proactive in toilet training our eldest daughter. We always felt our comfortable leaving that our children were in safe hands and it made my wife’s return to work from maternity leave a lot easier.

Hi Parents
Tasha has been looking after my boys for over a year now - I have 6 year old twin boys and a very hormonal ten year old! I can honestly say that Tasha has taken every challenge they have thrown her way (and being boys, there has been a few!!) completely in her stride, and managed every situation professionally and maturely.
I have to work late one evening a week, not returning until approx 2300hrs - the first time of meeting Tasha, she asked about the bedtime routines and has adhered to them 100% so my children experience continuity.
I told my boys I would be writing this review and asked them what word they would pick each to describe Tasha - their choices were:
'Awesome', 'Kind' and 'Lovely' - if that isn't a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is!!
My boys are comfortable, at ease and well looked afer in Tasha's care, and that peace of mind is priceless as a a parent.
My children look forward to having Tasha look after them - I think they are secretly disappointed when I have to swap work days around and they don't see her when they were expecting to!
I am happy to provide a phone reference or such like for any potential clients of Tasha's - ask her for my number if you need reassurance.
You won't find a better person to care for your child(ren)!
