My Summary

My Experience

The experience being a mother of two has given me so much confidence with raising and caring for children. I am a firm believer in teaching young children how to behave, to be polite and kind to others, to respect their elders (especially their parents) but I am also a fun loving person who will love and care for your child like they were my own. I love arranging playdates and am a member of Kew Gardens so I can take the children there for visits and picnics.

I began this nannying journey in Vauxhall nine years ago when I wanted a career change in my life. My close friend is a nanny and she said I am great with kids and should give it a try.

My first job I looked after a 2 1/2 year old boy and 10 month old girl. It was only for a few months (they moved to Oxford) but it was an eye opener for me and I really loved the experience. I took care of them from 8am - 5pm every day. The parents encouraged me to keep nannying as they could see how much their children had come round so early on and felt comfortable and happy with me caring for them while mum and dad were at work.

My second family was in Chiswick from Feb 2015 to March 2020 (Lockdown). I looked after two boys and I loved working for this family. The parents are happy for anyone interested in hiring me to call them as one of my references. (Will provide details on request).

My third family was in St Margarets in Twickenham from 02 July 2020 to 25 July 2023. The hours were 55 per week not including babysitting.

I have been very fortunate to work for amazing families.

My Qualifications

I have a degree in Music Performance from NASDA in Christchurch, New Zealand 2001. I also have a Dip. in Opera from the University of Auckland, New Zealand 1997. I also won a full two year scholarship to study Opera at the Australia Opera Studio in Perth, Western Australia 2005.

I spent 6 years studying music full time at a high level. So I know what hard work is. I do have a valid DBS Certificate.

Your childs safety under my care I take very seriously.

I looked after a child who is highly allergic to nuts and eggs and has an epipen. So I am very good with instructions if your child has allergies.

I have my full New Zealand drivers license. I can’t drive with this license in the UK. So I am currently booked to sit my driving test in May 2022 to get my full drivers license through the DVSA (Drivers and Vehicle Standards Agency).

My Availability

I have finished working for a family in St Margarets in July 2023.

I am looking for a family who only need morning drop offs.

OPTIONS:
0700-0930: Routine: Kids get ready for school, come downstairs for breakfast, wash, dry and put away kids breakfast dishes while the kids get bags ready for school, drop them off to school on time. FINISHED. (Paid for two hours).

0730-1100: Routine: Kids get ready for school, come downstairs for breakfast, wash, dry and put away kids breakfast dishes while the kids get bags ready for school, drop them off to school on time, return to the home and tidy kitchen,basic tidy of kids bedrooms, do a load of washing. FINISHED. (Pay for four hours)
