My name is Emma Bates of
Busy Bates’ Childcare last year
I am married to jason, i have 3 children of my own, 2 have now flown the nest so that leaves us with our son at home ,i also have a step son who visits in the week, we have a 2 family dogs. We are a fun family who love to be active!
I like to ensure all my children and parents are happy with the relaxed happy service I provide.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 20 years, i have been a nanny, worked in preschools and day nurseries before becoming a childminder,i have been a childminder now for 15 years. I have seen many children grow & progress over the years which has given me the experience to cater for every child’s individual needs.
I also like to ensure all my children and parents are happy with the relaxed happy service I provide.
I offer all FEEE funding entitlements and tax free childcare.

My daughter has gone to Emma's since she was 1. Emma was very accommodating from the start with my difficult working hours. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter at Emma's, and she always comes home with a huge smile and a long list of things shes done that day. Emma certainly keeps the children busy and the children really thrive whilst there. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend emma to any other parents. I am really sad that due to my daughter starting school in another area in september we wont be able to continue to use her.

My little boy went to Emma’s from about the age of 1yr. We initially put him into a nursery but I was never really comfortable with leaving him there when I went to work and he never really settled. I was so glad when Emma had a space and could take him and from day one we never looked back. My little boy totally loved going there and loved seeing Emma too! He spent time learning and playing and I always felt that he was looked after and made to feel like one of Emma’s family. What I liked the most was that I knew if he was ever ill whilst there he would be given good care and attention and lots of cuddles until I could get to pick him up. Myself and my husband would highly recommend Emma to anyone who wants their child looked after well in a safe and Secure environment that provides excellent learning and fun! An amazing childminder! ❤️

My daughter has been with Emma since she was 10 months old and I wouldn’t leave her with anyone else! Going back to work after maternity is difficult, however Emma made the process so much more easier. I receive regular updates, and Emma is very accommodating.
Emma does various activities with all the children, tailored to their individual needs, encouraging them to progress and see their full potential! My daughter has developed so much since being with Emma, and has made lots of friends along the way.
It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and my daughter feels like one of the family. I recommend Emma 110%and know that future children will be very happy here :)
