LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME NANNY ROLE
Hello, my name is Jasmine, I’m 30 years old and have been a nanny for 8 years now. I’m one of 5 children, and the oldest, with my siblings being 28, 26, 13 and 11, so have had lots of childcare practice before hand too, as well as working in a nursery for 3 years where I studied my NVQ level 2 and 3.
I am a happy, trustworthy, fun loving nanny who loves to be outdoors, as well as exploring arts and crafts and messy play indoors too. I would normally plan the day for the children in my care around their interests/requirements, as well as trying to incorporate some outdoor time (whether that be a trip to the shops to get baking bits, or a walk in the park) and some structured indoor activities too. I like to research nearby playgroups/classes as I find them beneficial in many ways for the children. As a full time nanny, it’s important the children get the socialisation with other children too which is why playgroups/classes can be beneficial and I’m always open to playdates and meeting other Nannie’s to help with this as well.
I am also open to a part housekeeping role. My current role I have a morning a week housekeeping and catching up on washing/changing beds/batch cooking/sorting through toys and clothes etc. However, this is also something I try and incorporate where possible into my nanny role (if children are napping for example), and sometimes the children want to help as well; my current littlest one loves helping me with the laundry so we often do it together!
I love cooking and making nutritious meals for the children, experimenting with new recipes while making the staples that the children love. I have found most children love getting involved and helping too which I’m more than happy to encourage!
I adore children and think it’s such a privilege, as a nanny, to be a part of their upbringing.
I have a full UK driving license and excellent references available on request. My DBS has expired and my current family don’t require me to renew but I am happy to renew it on request.

My Experience
I started studying childcare at GCSE. I always knew I wanted to go down the career pathway of children. I have younger siblings and always loved helping them, guiding them and being around them. I then went into 6th form and studied health and social care as well as doing work experience in a nursery alongside that course.
I wanted to keep pursuing my love and interest in child care so I got a job in a nursery where I studied my Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ in childcare, which I completed, alongside working full time there. I had a maximum of 15 key children at the nursery, which is one of my achievements, and was lucky enough to move with the children as they went from baby room to toddler room, to younger pre school and so on, and so I got to see them at each stage of their development; I was lucky enough to work with all ages. I had finished my Level 3 and still loved childcare but knew the nursery environment wasn’t quite right for me and so I waited til my key children went off to primary school then found a nannying job for 2 children, 4 year old boy and 10 month old girl.
I nannied for this family for 2 years and then did part time/full time nannying for various different families/roles and ages of children ever since.
I have excellent references from my families.
Whilst at the nursery I attended various training days including behavioural management training for the early years, Magic of Maths, Natural resource training, as well as volunteering to attend the extra first aid courses to refresh my mind.
