About Me
I am a qualified teacher with over 20 Years Experience in childcare working with various families and supporting their needs to take care of their precious little ones. I have experience in a range of childcare settings such as nursery, preschool, childminder and nannying. I am a non smoker, extremely patient, compassionate and highly skilled in infant care with extensive knowledge of safety precautions; feeding techniques and education activities to stimulate physical, social and cognitive development. Flexible caregiver who can handle unexpected changes in schedule or situations with ease, grace, and confidence.
My Experience
I currently work as a teacher two days a week. And provide nannying services in between.

Duties include
Provide time for mum to feel like mum again. Whether it’s a trip to the gym, shopping or lunch with a friend.
• Prepare & cook nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks
• Ensure that the children's toys and equipment are maintained and clean
• Organise trips that promote the child’s social and educational development
• Arrange play dates, social activities with after school groups
• Keep the parents fully informed of their child's day and progress
• Take children to visit peers in parks and to go on walks
• Keep children’s room tidy with a constant eye for safety
• Sterilise bottles and prepare milk feeds
• Assist the household by preparing evening meals
• Maintain photo narrative/diary of weekly events and activities
• Review and discuss weekly activities with the parents
• Maintain regular toilet visits and nappy changing and cleaning
To liaise with parents and carers and to keep structured records and facilitate a broad and balanced curriculum through monitoring and evaluation
Support the transition to the next stage of education including visits or contact with teaching staff, the passing on of all records, completion of assessments and progress data
Provide all aspects of basic care for babies and children: including care for sick children and to give first aid where necessary
Setting up rooms with daily planned activities and making sure the nursery is safe before children attend
Liaising with parents/carers and other professionals such as child’s development team and speech therapists
Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
Supervision of lunch, with diligence to individual dietary needs and allergies
