About Me
My name is Kelly and I run Kelly's Kids - I provide a happy, fun and safe environment for your children where they can learn, laugh and build wonderful friendships! Here at Kelly's Kids I offer quality care and support basic educational needs. I have considerable experience working full time in a day nursery along with childminding for 23 years. My last 2 Ofsted inspections were rated outstanding. I provide an environment for your children to have fun, be happy, learn and be in a safe place. I have an enclosed garden and a playroom full of toys and resources for all age groups all of which meet Ofsted standards. I have my own nine seater bus which enables us to go out during the school holidays, we venture out everywhere! We visit the local soft play centres and farms, parks and further afield such as Manchester and Liverpool to the museums and as far as Cadbury world in Birmingham and the sea side at Llandudno! I have a very homely setting whereby the children can come in after school and chill, they can do activities or homework if they wish or just relax and chat and play with their friends. I have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, Early Years and Education and hold First Aid and Food Hygiene certificate. I also have the relevant qualification in Childminding Practice and actively attend any training that is available to me, over the years I have attended many courses, these include, Let's Pretend (focusing on role play for children) letters and sounds training for young children, makaton -sign language for children, course on safeguarding and many more. I completed my qualification which is the new version of the NVQ level 3 in childcare - The children’s and young people’s workforce diploma level 3 back in January 2012. I come from a childcare background, I worked at Lilliput Farm Day Nursery as the Pre School Room Supervisor for 2 years, and have been Childminding since i finished there.

My Qualifications
I have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, Early Years and Education and hold First Aid and Food Hygiene certificate. I also have the relevant qualification in Childminding Practice and actively attend any training that is available to me, I attend many training courses to futher my skills and knowlegde, these include makaton (early signing), schemas, early language and development, letters and sounds training for young children, safeguarding and many more. I studied from August 2011 through to the end of January 2012 in the evenings and doing assignments and assessments to complete my Childrens and Young People's Workforce Diploma Level 3 which is equivilent to the old NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
My Availability
My opening times are 7 30 am until school drop off and then school pick up to 5.30pm Monday - Friday for before and after school care
I offer 2 full days of care for under school aged children - Thursday & Friday
I open full days Monday, Thursday and Fridays in the school holidays (certain weeks)
The schools I cover are Elworth Hall, Elworth C of E, and Wheelock Pre school - Tuesday to Friday
I offer TERM TIME only contracts should you not need the school holidays, and also offer SCHOOL HOLIDAY only contracts - I also offer adhoc bookings in the school holidays should you need random days and I have space.
I am taking bookings for September 2024 onwards should your child be starting school and you require before and after school care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£55.00 per day (full day)
£40.00 per half day (9am-3pm)
Trips in the school holidays are an extra cost.

Kelly has been caring for my 2 sons for nearly two years now and I have no hesitation in recommending her. Kelly is extremely kind, caring and loving and always has the children's best interests in mind. Our son's think of Kelly as their 2nd Mum and quite often say that they wish Kelly was part of our family.
My husband and I trust Kelly 100% with the safety and welfare of our children. Kelly involves all the children no matter what age to participate in activities and tasks for example: helping to tidy toys away and setting table ready for snack time. Kelly really promotes independence and boosts confidence in all the children and this is really noticable when all the children are playing together, Kelly teaches good values and all the children look out for one another, take turns and have outstanding manners.
Kelly goes the extra mile when organising activities, I've never known a childminder like her. My son's have been to Wales, Southport, Stockley Farm to name but a few places on days out and Kelly will always share all the special photographs taken on the days out so we feel like we are not missing out.
Kelly is flexible, accommodating and will help you out in times of need. Kelly is regarded as one of the best childminders in the area and is well known to community figures as she supports a lot of groups and activities that our local community run.
Kelly will always greet you with a smile and is always genuinely excited to tell you what your child has been doing throughout the day. She keeps upto date with the early years curriculum and is always doing courses on her days off. When you meet Kelly, it will be clear to you straight away that she is passionate about her job and you only have to look at the children's faces when they are with her to see how happy they all are!!
Overall
Kelly has been my child-minder for many years I had before Kelly used nursery’s and didn’t feel totally happy with the care both my children had until I moved them to Kelly’s.
Kelly is very professional in all areas of her business you are able to keep a business and friendship relationship. This I feel is due to Kelly’s honesty.
Kelly is very supportive towards the children and has the ability to be able to develop close caring relationship towards the children in her care, my children still speak to Kelly when they see her and wish we had time to see Kelly more often.
Kelly is very well organised, her planning is excellent. She has activities planned for the children that they all enjoy helping them develop. Kelly has helped my children starting with their pre-school learning to home work as they got older. My daughter is now 11 and still talks about the trips she has been on with Kelly as she had so much fun.
I do recommend Kelly to anyone looking for child care, in total Kelly looked after my children for 10 years and I can’t think of any one better.

My son (now 6) had always attended a nursery but my daughter (now 4) never seamed to be settled both at nursery and home so I took the decision to place her with a childminder as I felt she might be better with more one to one attention. After looking at a few local childminders, I felt Kelly was the most suitable as her enthusiasm shone from day one. Within weeks my daughter had changed to become a happy, more settled 12 month old. Following a divorce I had to leave work and obviously end my childcare with Kelly but on returning back to work with a very strange and varied work patten, Kelly has always accommodated my odd hours and where possible for her, collected from various places, dropped off at various places and done extra when I needed to work over time. She now has my daughter around pre-school and me working and both my children during the school holidays and when my daughter starts school this September, I know she will miss the time at Kelly's but both my children will be looking forward to the school holiday activities Kelly ALWAYS puts effort into planning! Out of all the childminders I saw in my area, Kelly was by far the most accommodating and flexible allowing me to do just a few hours on days when I only work a few hours to half day and full day sessions. Extremely helpful and adaptable, always contactable and brilliant with all the children she cares for!! I would have no problem and haven't had in recommending her to anyone weather it be full time, part time or strange hours like mine!

Kelly has looked after Charlotte since she was 6 months old and we have been extremely happy with the care she provides. We chose Kelly even though she is not our closest childcare provider because the minute we walked in on our first visit we loved the home-like atmosphere she creates for the children. Charlotte has learned to play with other children of all ages, and loves going to Kelly's and to all the activities she organises so much that she has never cried once when I've left her! We particularly like the way Kelly encourages all the children to play together despite their different ages so they learn from each other and become very confident. I'd also echo what other parents have said about how flexible Kelly is to suit individual needs and can't recommend her highly enough.

Kelly has cared for my son since she first started her business, and provided pre and after school care for my daughter.
Kelly offers a very special and professional service, she is very caring and has a great pride in the service she offers. Kelly has provided great flexibility when this is required.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Kelly to you if you are looking for childcare in Sandbach.
My daughter now 16 still keeps in touch with Kelly which clearly demonstrates the quality of relationships she builds with the children.
