About Me
While we are at this difficult time with coronavirus I am available to care for key worker children. Please call..I have been an Ofsted registered child-minder since February 2007 I have a good grading from Ofsted .I live in Balderton
with my youngest son who is 17 We live in a large semi detached house which is close to local parks and playing fields, and a short distance from local shops and school/preschools. I use the whole ground floor of my home for child-minding. I have a fully enclosed large garden available for outside play which includes a decking area, patio area, large lawns, summer house, small play house, slide and sand pit, and a shed full of outside equipment which caters for all areas of learning. I strongly believe in children learning through play ,I offer and encourage children to take part in a wide range of fun activities (which follow the EYFS) both child initiated and adult led to help learn and develop skills for the future
I want children to feel happy and safe when in my home and I work closely with all parents to help give their child the best start in life.. I provide a happy and safe place for children, where they can learn, grow and have fun. a place where parents know that they can safely leave their children and know that their childs well being is paramount. I offer a 2 hour free session to all parents in order for you and your child/children to feel happy and comfortable with the care that I provide. I have a folder full of policies avaliable with excellent references and parent questionnaires available for viewing. We live in a multiracial society and I treat all children and their families as individuals. I value and respect different religions, cultures and languages. I will not stereotype people according to their race or gender. I will not make distinctions between male and female roles and give all the children in my care the chance to express their individual personalities through various forms of play. I understand that by treating children equally you sometimes have to treat them differently i.e. children with disabilities will need extra help. I will make sure I adhere to any dietary or religious needs. I realise that parents are the best source or information regarding their child and I access that source frequently. My Experience
I care for children from 9 months to 11 years. I have some experience in special needs and disabilities also children with allergies.my own children are 37 34 27 and 17I also have 5 grandchildren aged 14 11 9 2and 9months
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 in home- based childcare. I have paediatric first aid training, safeguarding and child protection training, observation and assessment training. I also have done food allergy online training .
My Availability
I have spaces Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 6 pm coming up in July 2022 I pick up and drop off at chuter Ede school ,Before school and after are charged per session I am also registered for government funded places 2,3 and 4 year olds.
I offer term time only with half fees charged for holidays if required and also cater for school holiday cover only,I do not have places for shift workers who want different days each week as I have to charge for full days/weeks.Please call for details.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
My fees are £4.50 per hour,Parents are asked to provide pack lunch and tea is provided at a cost of £2 . snacks are provided in the hourly or daily rate.
