I have good team skills and can also work well alone using my own initiative. I am a very capable person who can handle small groups of children by myself as this is what my current job entails. I have also worked in a toddler group with ages 0-5 yrs and i worked with parents and babies/toddlers giving them support..I also have a niece aged 5 whom I take care of. My Experience
The last 8 years I have worked as a childcare practitioner within a nursery dealing with 0-12 years. This position has allowed me to work with a variety of ages within different rooms including baby rooms, 3-5 rooms, toddlers and after school care. I have also worked in a toddler group with ages 0-5 yrs. this was one day a week and work with parents and babies/toddlers giving them support.. Before that I was a live in nanny.
Also when qualifying I worked in a nursery/reception class as a volunteer.
Also within a special needs school which was a fun exicting challenge.
Also volunteered in a soft play area/creche.
I did my work experience in a local family centre with various settings such as creche, after school club.
I can provide various childcare references.
I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS EXPERIENCE WITH AUTISM FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN.
im also now registered with sssc and have pvg disclosure
I also have current first aid and food hygiene
i have helped with my niece since she was a baby whos now 5

I live in Cumbernauld, happy to travel but i dont drive
