Hello, my name is Joanna and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with years of experience supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development.
I offer a warm, friendly, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to explore. We are a very active and outdoorsy setting — enjoying fresh air, nature walks and plenty of fun activities that help children grow in confidence and independence.
I also accept government funding, making childcare more accessible for families.

My Experience
About Me as a Childminder
As a qualified teacher and dedicated childminder since 2018, I offer a nurturing, active, and creative environment where children can learn, grow, and feel inspired every day. Alongside my teaching background, I bring a unique blend of skills and passions that support children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
I am also a youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, and I love introducing children to movement, confidence-building activities, and the value of teamwork through fun, age-appropriate exercises. Arts and crafts, sensory play, and imaginative projects are a big part of our daily routine, and I make sure each child has plenty of opportunities to explore their creativity.
Health and wellbeing are at the heart of my setting. I incorporate yoga, outdoor play, nature walks, and a variety of outdoor activities to help children stay active, centred, and connected to the world around them. I also promote healthy eating and a balanced lifestyle, encouraging children to develop positive habits from an early age.

I currently have one space available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and one on Fridays.
My opening hours are 8:00a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
