My name is Claire.
I have two grown up (well nearly!) daughters. One is studying Law and my youngest is also studying to be a midwife. I live near Norwich with my husband and Norman the dog! I have a complete love of food and cook usually from scratch and bake as often as possible. We have good friends and a close relationship with our families. I have a full, clean drivers license and a cheerful and friendly disposition!
My Experience
My main job is with the school nursing team as a health worker Monday - Wednesday. I have held this position for the past 7 years and I am fully DSB checked as I work in schools with young children. I also have to keep all mandatory training up-to-date annually, and therefore, first aid and resuscitation training is kept fresh.
For the past 4 years I have helped bring up two amazing little boys. This will very sadly be coming to an end as my little one started full time school back in September. I am happily part of the family and I still go once a week to help out at the moment. I am included in all child-related issues, good and bad, and my opinion is often sought in boy-related matters! However, neither parent has to work so I feel ready to move on and let go!
This arrangement came about as they knew my husband through business and had met my girls on and off from the ages of about 6 and 7 years old. To quote, they said I; "thought I knew what I was doing and hoped it would rub off on them!" So, I hope you can see that this has been a great partnership for us all. I must say I have loved having the boys, I really cherish my time with them and being a part of such a wonderful family is such a joy.

My Availability
I am looking to fill my Thursday and Fridays with a new family. During school term time I can only do these two days, but during the school holidays I have more availability if necessary. This would need to be agreed by us on an as-and-when basis.
I am available to assist with school pick ups and I can also do occasional over nights with prior notice.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My current post, and I know I am very fortunate, pays me £20 per hour but, as they say, I am taking care of their most precious things!
I am happy to chat about this and negotiate fees as I travel some 30 miles each way to my current family's home and this takes into account the extra time of the journeys and also the petrol costs. I am sure we could come to an amicable arrangement. I just want to be upfront and open with this profile.
My current family will happily provide references and speak to future prospective employers if you should wish it.
