About Me

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!

• I am no longer looking for work •

Hello, I'm 31 years old and I'm qualified with a Level 3 Btec qualification in Childcare Learning and Development, I also have my level 4 maternity nurse qualification too. I also have a first aid qualification and food hygiene as well. I've come from a family where I'm one of seven children, and as one of the older children I've learnt how to look after younger children and have always wanted to work with children.

I'm a very outgoing person, who is very willing to muck in and help out where needed. I'm very much an outdoors kind of person, and I love being outside when it's possible to be and enjoy letting the children explore their surroundings in all seasons. Within a job, I love routine and making sure that the children know what's going on and letting them make decisions as long as there sensible and realistic.

My last position was being a sole charge nanny for 1yo twin girls and their 4yo brother, complete all nursery duties, cooking along with taking them to classes, days out and also proxy parenting. I’m now currently on maternity leave and looking for a position where I am able to bring my son with me.

I'm a big routine person and believe that children thrive by having a good routine in place, from nap times to meal times it's so important. Also getting children to nap in their own bed is super important as well, it's something that I've helped parents with as the transition can be upsetting for the child. Being there to help parents make the transition of putting their child into their own room as it can be just as upsetting for parents as it is for the child.
