I am Leticia and I am originally from Spain.
I am moving back to Spain so sadly only available for online tutoring.
I am native speaker in Spanish and proficient in Italian.
I am an adaptable, open-minded person, dynamic with a proactive attitude.
I love working with children because it's a great oportunity to keep learning from their knowledge, creativity and brain flexibility. I am flexible and easy going but I also belive that creating healthy boundaries is essential in childcare.
I enjoy staying with friends and family, traveling, dancing, long deep talks and meeting people.
My Experience
I have a Social Work degree during my University year, I had several children's psichology subjects.
In the second university year I knew the grupo boom association where I volunteered for four years. In my third year I was designated executive vice president. I was involved in most charity activities. The charit developed and deliveres activities leisure & free time with children and youth adults in a disavantaged neigbourhood of my home town, Seville. We also had a project were we assisted the children with academic curriculum. I was the coordinator of this project for one year.
Initially when I moved to the UK I worked as an au pair for 6 months. I was taking care of a toddler a five and a six years old.
I carried out the next duties:
Organized and prepared activities and entertainment; observed and monitored children; instructed children on healthy diet and habits; supported teachers with curriculum.
I later worked at a Youth Club in Gerrards Cross for two years and a half.
I have continued to babysitting for a family when needed for 6 years which shows my reliability.
I had 8 years of experience directly with children.
In my current full time job I work with families but in a different capacity.
My Qualifications
I have a Social Work degree and I have been and Outdor activity instructor and camp monitor during four years as explained above.
My Availability
I am available for late evenings from 18:00 weekly and weekend.
